Anyone remember when Pelosi said impeachment was so decisive that it should only take place if the evidence was overwhelming and compelling with bi-partisan support? None of these are present, but they are proceeding anyway. The quid pro quo was not working so now they are changing it to extortion and bribery. That is not enough for Schiff as he has to tell us that bribery is not what we think it is and has to offer up his own contrived definition to make his case. The House of Representatives is one half of one third of co-equal branches of government yet Democrats running it believe they have the right to make the executive branch bow to its every request. Nowhere in the Constitution does it give the legislative branch complete oversight over everything the executive branch does. This whole process is nothing more than an attempt to o*******w an e******n and get rid of a political enemy. This is what totalitarian regimes do. It shows how much, despite their bloviating otherwise, Democrats h**e the America our founders intended when they wrote the Constitution. Proof of that is how they want it to be a "living document" to be interpreted to support their goals. These are extremely dangerous people so I am asking those who see the impeachment process for what it is to stop calling it a clown show and a joke. It is far too dangerous to be taken lightly.

Totalitarian regimes simply shoot their political enemies. Our lawless corrupt president is being lawfully investigated as directed by the rules explained in the Constitution. The only question that remains unanswered is will the Republicans follow their oath to faithfully carry out their duties under the Constitution or will they ignore the actual overwhelming evidence and blindly support their criminal leader. We will find out soon.

Another example of this might be Trump firing and/or silencing cabinet members and all those around him who dare to disagree with him. Another example is Trump declaring the media to be the enemy of the people every time an article or commentary appears that exposes his lawlessness. I agree we are heading toward a totalitarian government with this creep in the White House.
