I also grew up in Idaho and around Mormon's good people very independent self-reliant. They came to my door in Nevada asked me if my children went to church I said yes I encourage them to go with their friends. some are Baptist/Catholic and so on they looked really worried asked have they been Baptised No when their 12 or 13 if they find a church that fills that empty place they can get baptized Have you been baptized mam NO me and God we talk when I'm driving when I'm working but I don't trust churches when I looked up they were on their bikes riding like the devil himself was after them.I never saw them again. Just a little footnote All my sons did join a church they are all Baptist. I have all ways believed that he hears all of us I know he and I have talked and I have asked that he forgive me for not joining but to me to many churches are giving in to special interest groups. Once they do they are breaking the trust between them and God. I'm more afraid of being d**gged down with them then just keeping it simple as it use to be
