But for Trump . . .

Trump has serious conflicts of interest with Erdogan...period
Definitely not one who has others lives in their hands or relied upon others for the protection of yours. Go get a slurpy and STFU.

Dems would never worry about a life!

Like what?
Over one million dollars in royalties from the two Trump towers in Istanbul and other lucrative deals in Turkey. In 2019 Trump said his business interests in Turkey could cause him to have conflicts in his dealings with them.

Does anyone remember what our goal was, when we went into Syria?
Initially we supported the academics who were fighting for their freedom from a brutal dictator, sadly we did not provide a no fly zone as we should have and the Arab spring freedom fighters were driven out by the regime and ISIL. The small force of our people on the ground then allied with our closest and most dependable allies in the region the Kurds to fight ISIL and keep Assad and the Russians in check, this worked well with a very small force and air support.

Lie number one...initially, Bush was to set the stage for WWIII and the
hag was to be the finisher.

Lie number two...We shouldn't have been there and a no fly zone would have triggered their war.
Quote:

Lie number three...The "regime" is the legitimate government of Syria whether you like it or not and despite what they say Assad was NOT persecuting minorities...such as
Christians. Quote:

Lie number four...Kev, just go back and look at the brief history of our relationship with the "Kurds". They sensed an opportunity and allied themselves with us, even though we had no fkn reason to be there except to start a bigger conflict.

It
worked??? OMG!

But for Trump, how many Mattis's or others like him would have started WWIII by engaging Turkey in a war??
Guys like Mattis need to be on a tight leash. They have greatness but, . . . .
Too many. Bolton is another.

I believe it! And to think they were claiming that Trump would start another war to cover his butt!

Im sorry but this is not our country they were there as supervisors and to help keep open communication and talks with other kurd communities. The Kurds had training from our people they had American weapons there was no reason to keep our people there our people would not have made a difference except to give you something else to whine and cry about when they died which is what would have happened

He wouldn't have whined about that. He wouldn't care a whit except for the tragedy's
value as a reason to criticize Trump for not leaving earlier.
