They all try to influence the FED. The FED is Independent. I wish they’d allow interest rates to go up as the economy allows. This artificially keeping int. rates low started like crazy under Obama witth QE1 etc. it’s a long term mistake in my opinion. Presidents know Americans see the stock market. Int rates go up, stock take a hit, as they should. Bonds aren’t well known by the general public.

It's a huge mistake------if another major economic crash comes, there's nowhere left to go.

That would be a YES. In my case govt regs were slowing things down and a slow economy hurts everyone. My business, though never bad has been great under Trump.

None of it has really had a major impact on my life. Do you think it is because I do not depend on the federal government for my well being but take personal responsibility?

Same here----most people should. And part of taking personal responsibility is ensuring that you are investing in yourself through stocks, bonds, savings, and other items. Lowering the rates discourages people to save, and rather to spend and acquire even more debt they can't afford.

I am a rancher and I am doing a lot better.

Taxes have gone up for our income dynamics, and my wife's healthcare has almost tripled from $350 a month to over $900. Gasoline prices are going up, when they did under Obama he told the industry notch them down or he would roll back prices to $2.25 a gallon...they lowered them.

I believe nothing from you. You’re wasting your time with me.

I am still waiting for my $2500 health insurance savings Obama promised me when the Democrats rammed Obamacare through.

I can say that I paid more taxes this year because of the job creation and tax cut act or wh**ever it’s called. I can’t deduct as much of my property tax now. That said, I have made more money the last three years than ever before in my life. I don’t necessarily attribute that to trump and I understand that the tax cut helped a vast majority of Americans........ contrary to popular belief and I will v**e for trump again.......... not because I like him but because he is what we need right now and the dems can’t come up with anybody that ain’t a complete wacko!!!!! I do wish he would balance the budget though!!!!!!!!!!!

Very well said. This is part of what's wrong with this country, no one wants to take responsibility for their own lives. Instead expect the government to take care of them. I was raised to provide for myself and family first and then help others. My investments are doing great, the best in years.

How in the world did your wife’s 401 k lose half it’s value since Trump? Either you are lying or who ever manages the 401k is a financial i***t. Grocery bill is climbing? Buying Chinese noodles or what?
