Ok here we go again with the “what about” excuses trotting out Clinton, Obama et al. Is this getting old anybody? (Are you actually suggesting that this behavior is ok because others have done it? Strength in numbers perhaps? The “normalizing” of sexual assault because “celebrities” do it? Is it nothing if your wife, mother, sister, daughter gets mauled by some self entitled rich kid?)

Clinton ? Seriously ..who cares? None of these people are in office now, only Trump. Bill Clinton was Trumps apparent mentor at one point before they had a thieves-fall-out moment. I was not for Clinton’s impeachment and removal from office just as I am not for Trumps removal for the same reason, because of the damage to our political system and the nations psyche.
In light of recent events it seems like Trump should be impeached as a wrist slap but removal is a really bad idea and the GOP controlled Senate is unlikely to v**e for his removal anyway. Being only the third President to be impeached by the house, should that happen, will be punishment enough for his overinflated ego.

As for the rest of your post the answer should be obvious. If you break the law there should be consequences and as an Independent I don’t give a flying rats scrotum what party you cling to. A****A lost any moral high ground by indulging the same tactics as those they opposed. There IS a border crisis that has been in the making for more than 50 years and both parties share the blame but there is no way forward unless and until everybody sits down and hammers out a comprehensive plan that includes Guest Worker Permits of some kind.
In the current climate we are unlikely to see any movement on this.
