This is a long article, but worth the read. Also a very bipartisan post, there are the obligatory insults against President Trump embedded. But the assessment of the state of Congress is eye opening. And appalling.

Good artical if we had a working congress we would ent be in the mess were in.
Congress is supposed to represent the people which it hasn't done in a long time to the power in our country is really invested in Congress and not the presidency and all the measures we need to take to correct this problem cannot be accomplished by Congress. That's why I have been saying for months on OPP we can't v**e ourselves out of this mess. It's kind of funny though Lindsey Graham address the Senate during the Clinton impeachment is that a president. didn't even have to commit a crime and it wasn't so much about removing him from office as it was cleansing the Office of the President of the United States. Course today he sings very different tune the only way I can see possible as for the American people get smart enough to v**e all the incumbents out of office try to start a new

And add TERM LIMITS!! Congress members would be far less likely to roll over and join the corruption if they saw a term of service as a boon on their resume, or a way to serve after retirement, rather than a long term career choice, IMO

Yes, no more than 3 terms, take away PENSIONS, being elected is not a permanent JOB only temporary as it was intended by founders.

You seem to forget that Clinton was found guilty of about four crimes but wasn't charged with impeachment because the majority in the House was clearly Democratic, just as it is today. That led for the downfall of the Republican party in the next e******n. You people on the left should take the advice of others, to not go down the road to impeachment at this time.

And If They Really Try To Be Otherwise (TEA)
D.C., And The MSM, Will Fix That In Short Order

I'd say no more than 2 terms for senators and 3 or the House. And outlaw these ridiculous pensions and MAKE IT ILLEGAL FOR ANY OF THEM TO EVER BE A LOBBYIST, EVER.
