Politicians on BOTH sides have been "stepping in it" for what seems like forever.

What's funny is the fact that BOTH sides focus on the other's "stepping in it" while ignoring that their own feet are covered with crap.

I blame the internet and Cable News for creating an environment that accentuates our political differences.

Americans, being Americans.., are inherently contentious.

In the "good old days", Americans mostly followed the social proscription of avoiding talking about "sports, politics and religion"..., all of which possess the ability to ENFLAME.

First comes Cable News which generates income by generating CONFLICT.., "us versus them" News which spends more time "creating a narrative" than reporting ALL the facts.

Then comes the rush to the internet and websites to vent their anger towards fellow Americans who have audacity to not see things the way they see things.

With all its' advantages and contributions.., in ALL OF HISTORY.., there has NEVER been a more CONSTANT vehicle for t***smitting h**e than the internet.

Americans seem to be blind to the fact that our differences of OPINION represents our GREATEST STRENGTH and that disrespecting opposing thought is about as unAmerican as it gets.

DISAGREEMENT is a GOOD.

DISRESPECT is an EVIL.

I LOVE and proudly wear my red MAGA hat.

The Department of Justice announced Wednesday that it opted not to investigate President Donald Trump over a controversial phone call he had in July with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The news came hours after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California announced the start of an official impeachment probe.

“The actions of the Trump presidency revealed the dishonorable fact of the president’s betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security, and betrayal of the integrity of our e******ns,” Pelosi told reporters on Tuesday from the Capitol Building, according to ABC News.

Pelosi cited the Ukraine controversy in her brief statement about impeachment.

Prior to the Wednesday release of the transcript of the call, Trump critics claimed the president was withholding $400 million in aid from Ukraine as a bargaining chip he was using to get Ukraine to investigate past activities of Democratic p**********l candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden’s son.
The transcript released by the White House does not mention the aid, which was eventually released to Ukraine in September.

Investigators looked into the call to see whether Trump had sought a sort of campaign contribution from Ukraine by asking Zelensky to probe the family of a political opponent, and decided there was no basis for a criminal investigation, The Washington Times reported.

The Department of Justice’s Criminal Division “reviewed the official record of the call and determined, based on the facts and applicable law, that there was no campaign finance violation and that no further action was warranted,” DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec told HuffPost for an article published Wednesday.

She said all “relevant components of the Department agreed with this legal conclusion, and the Department has concluded the matter.”.....

Problem is that "liberal Americans" are as GENUINELY convinced of their OPINIONS as "conservative Americans".

NEITHER side will EVER convince the other.

2020 will be decided by TRUE INDEPENDENTS..., not those who just proclaim themselves as such so as to cloak themselves in an appearance of impartiality which they do not possess [Bills Maher and O'Reilly are the most renowned examples of peddling this unmitigated bupkis].

Whichever side presents TRUE INDEPENDENTS with the more convincing "narrative" will win.

Anyway.., that's one man's OPINION.

I do go after the Republicans also.
Trump, IMO, outshines Hillary and fellow Democrats (Pelosi, Schumer, Shiftless, Maxine to name a few) by a huge margin.

I am pretty much a libertarian/constitutionalist. Anti-NWO.
AND both parties have served that agenda.
Trump not so much.

I have v**ed independent/3'rd party my whole life until Ron Paul got the Republican nominattion.
The sold out RNC , NeoCONS and controlled Lame Stream Media kept Ron Paul from getting the nomination, and a win over the Democrats.
