Red f**g laws are currently saving lives in the states where people are reporting unhinged behavior and threats and intervention is done by law enforcement. What people got s**k of hearing about is cases where there were multiple evidences of violent and unhinged behavior and threats and law enforcement was unable to do anything until the person actually did something.

So when the GOP supports red f**g laws and enforces more comprehensive background checks don't v**e for any republicans that pass it. Heck, don't v**e for trump when he signs them either for that matter, you are part of his minority of supporters anyway.

Red f**g laws are invoked when friends and family report credibly unhinged behavior, and nothing will save more people from being randomly shot by nut jobs. I'm sorry, but I have no sympathy for people with anger management issues and charges of civil violence and assault, they have far less right to freedoms like owning guns. I'll fight for my own right to own guns along with any other mentally stable people, but those with histories of irrational behavior and violent tendencies can do without...

Like I’d take any advice. from you troll. I believe those laws to be easily abused. Witnessed provable dangerous behavior should be looked into. What I’ve Read currently about Red F**g laws is they could be used by a someone without legal proof to have someone’s right taken away.

I just posted something on beliefs versus reality. Of course you believe these laws will be easily abused, not so. My sister tried to pull a totally false allegation on me because I was taking legal actions against her when she was stealing from my father's living trust estate when she was the executor. She threatened to report that I had threatened to shoot him, I told her to go for it and she did. Sheriff's showed up to talk to me, I was calm and rational and told them the legal issues that were happening and what she was trying to do. They had showed up with a large group ready for an assault, but the guy in charge told them we were fine so most of the guys left. They went and talked to my father, his mind is toast but he said no, Keith didn't threaten me. They went to talk with my sister and told her that she could be arrested and charged for falsely accusing me of this. She cried and told them she was just trying to get me to stop accusing her of stealing (which she was doing), She dropped the charge and they left her alone when she could have been arrested and charged.

This is not the slippery slope of abuse the right has rhetorically made it out to be. It is going to affect those with histories of domestic violence and restraining orders, of histories of mental health such as anger management issues. Yes, I agree that their rights as they have existed until this point are in danger, but who cares about the unhinged nut jobs that can't control their anger and emotions except those who may have a bit of trouble with those things?
