I’m a retired veteran. I’ve lost faith specially because of my former Party the Republicans. It started with Sarah Palin, but now, it’s truly profoundly sick. Trump isn’t the threat - it’s the blind corrupt politicians who enabled him and the brainwashed weak minded sheep who follow him. It’s CRYSTAL clear who and what trump is. However, Republicans are brainwashed with fear, r****m, paranoia, false patriotism, and f*****m. Going all the way back to McCarthyism, but today it’s all done by trump and filth like Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and Alex Jones. Fear is the easiest way to control weak minded people. Trump is a vile, repulsive, corrupt, global elitist, born rich, spoiled, hooker-addicted, r****t, entitled brat who went to Ivy League college on daddy’s dime, chickened out of the draft 5x, inherited everything he has, went bankrupt 5x (a form of welfare), and built his life of extreme greed on the backs of i*****l i*******t construction workers and shafting blue collar vendors. Not to mention he put his own kids on the Whitehouse payroll while they continue to run his businesses & use their govt positions to make deals for daddy. NEPOTISM. He also using taxpayers money to fund his Mar-a-largo resort and DC hotel. His entire staff is made up of global elitist rich pigs trying to pillage America to line their pockets. Biggest swamp on earth. He’s also the first president to insult veterans on Twitter, to skip Arlington & WW2 ceremonies because of rain and his hair, and the first to refuse to spend Christmas with troops (despite a VA hospital just a mile from the Whitehouse). Not to mention he held a phony fundraiser during the e******n and stole from veterans. He throws tantrums on Twitter like a 4 year old. Directly uses his position to degrade and sow distrust of the free press and the FBI/DOJ. He blatantly encourages violence and threatens jail time against his opponents and protesters. He routinely calls the free press the "enemy of the people." Not to mention, his ENTIRE CAREER in NYC has been one of extreme corruption and attacking disabled veteran vendors. Trump only cares about himself, his ego, his wallet, and his penis. Trump could care less about America, except to gaslight it for his ego and wallet. 17 investigations, almost all of his closest long term advisors have all pleaded guilty, been convicted, or are under investigation. Absolute sick level of corruption.
An old guy that I do not really know very well...B... (show quote)

I am not sure how old a veteran you are; I retired after 34 years. For the last 15 of those years I was fighting terrorists and dictators in the middle east. For the first 20 years, I was fighting C*******m. Your anti-wealth, anti-capitalist rantings indicate you have gone over to the other side. BTW, Trump takes no salary, donating ALL of it to charity; Trump's daughter and son-in law are unpaid; every dollar spent by foreign diplomats in Trumps magnificent DC hotel is sent directly to the US treasury. Second BTW: pretty much every thing you just posted about President Trump is total, unmitigated B/S.

Your quote "{Surely you jest that doing away with the E*****r College} will make every v**e count equally is completely false !

The Republicans have never lost by e*******l v**e, why do you think that is? It's only been won by Republicans, it's no wonder they hold on to it. I pray that you do one day, soon would be ideal. But doubtful since the dems win by the popular, the voice of the majority of the people v**e.

All to charity and how would we know this, he hides his finances. but we've learned this.

We can start with the truly big money. Forbes' Dan Alexander and Matt Drange estimated last month that Trump rakes in at least $175 million annually from commercial tenants like the state-owned Industrial & Commercial Bank of China. Which companies specifically and how much money exactly? It's impossible to say because federal disclosure laws don't require an accounting of where his businesses get their money. This was not a problem with previous presidents, who divested themselves and disclosed. Trump on the other hand does nothing more than the minimum legally required. Not knowing who's paying the president how much money? That seems like it might be a problem. "Take any hot-button issue of the past year, and there's a good chance Trump's tenants lobbied the federal government on it, either in support of or in opposition to the administration's position," Forbes noted, adding that at least three dozen known Trump tenants have "meaningful relationships with the federal government, from contractors to lobbying firms to regulatory targets." In one case, even the federal government is paying rent to the president.

And that's just one avenue for filling the Trump-branded, solid gold trough. Foreign governments have been quick to figure out how to stay on the president's good side. They've "donated public land, approved permits and eased environmental regulations for Trump-branded developments, creating a slew of potential conflicts as foreign leaders make investments that can be seen as gifts or attempts to gain access to the American president through his sprawling business empire," McClatchy's Anita Kumar reported in January. The Chinese government has granted Trump at least 39 trademarks, some of which had been previously rejected, since he took office; Ivanka Trump, the president's daughter and senior adviser, has also gotten at least seven since she joined the administration. It's good to be the king or in the royal family

I agree with you 100% Navigator. Old age does not guarantee wisdom, something lacking in those veterans that are l*****ts.

What amazes me is the couple of Vets claiming there are more libby/dim/prog Veterans than there actually are is laughable as indicated by my VFW & American Legion Posts. It's not so much pubby or dim affiliation, but a conservative vs liberal ideology. Virtually every Vet I know is a registered unaffiliated/independent, but is decidedly conservative and finds the current crop of dims advocating 'free s**t' for everybody silly, if not downright stupid~

And just think: if you can glean all that pure rubbish out of one biased MSM article, imagine the years of fun you could have paying equal attention to the Clinton Foundation and coming up with real legal hijinks.

What say you, Frostie Maybe late next Spring or early summer If so, I would likely bring my RV motorhome. As you know, I visited the Minnesota North Shore from Duluth all the way to Grand Portage a few years ago, prior to joining OPP.

My wife, The Sgt. Major, & I try to travel as much as possible to view the great beauty of this nation. I still long to see Glacier National Park and Arcadia National Park...two destinations that remain on my bucket list.

Seeing Permafrost in his home state of Minnesota appeals to me also. I did not know him or of him in my only trip that far north and to Isle Royale National Park just below Canada's Thunder Bay.

I trust Frostie would make for a good guide.
