A prominent fundamentalist Christian minister and television celebrity regularly proclaims that the unborn child has a God-given right to life, that life is a gift from God, and that a******n is the sinful destruction of God's sacred creation. These and similar assertions are thoroughly refuted by "God's word," the holy bible.

Defenders of women's reproductive rights should know what the bible actually says about a******n and, by extension, related issues, including contraception, the morning-after pill, in vitro fertilization and fetal tissue research.

Scriptural t***hs
Ten biblical episodes and prophecies provide an unequivocal expression of God's attitude toward human life, especially the ontological status of "unborn children" and their pregnant mothers-to-be. Brief summaries:

• A pregnant woman who is injured and aborts the fetus warrants financial compensation only (to her husband), suggesting that the fetus is property, not a person (Exodus 21:22-25).

• The gruesome priestly purity test to which a wife accused of adultery must submit will cause her to abort the fetus if she is guilty, indicating that the fetus does not possess a right to life (Numbers 5:11-31).

• God enumerated his punishments for disobedience, including "cursed shall be the fruit of your womb" and "you will eat the fruit of your womb," directly contradicting sanctity-of-life claims (Deuteronomy 28:18,53).

• Elisha's prophecy for soon-to-be King Hazael said he would attack the Israelites, burn their cities, crush the heads of their babies and rip open their pregnant women (2 Kings 8:12).

• King Menahem of Israel destroyed Tiphsah (also called Tappuah) and the surrounding towns, k*****g all residents and ripping open pregnant women with the sword (2 Kings 15:16).

• Isaiah prophesied doom for Babylon, including the murder of unborn children: "They will have no pity on the fruit of the womb" (Isaiah 13:18).

• For worshiping idols, God declared that not one of his people would live, not a man, woman or child (not even babies in arms), again confuting assertions about the sanctity of life (Jeremiah 44:7-8).

• God will punish the Israelites by destroying their unborn children, who will die at birth, or perish in the womb, or never even be conceived (Hosea 9:10-16).

• For rebelling against God, Samaria's people will be k**led, their babies will be dashed to death against the ground, and their pregnant women will be ripped open with a sword (Hosea 13:16).

• Jesus did not express any special concern for unborn children during the anticipated end times: "Woe to pregnant women and those who are nursing" (Matthew 24:19).

Biblical atrocities
The 10 incidents and declarations surveyed above document God's complete rejection of the anti-a******n crusaders' claims about the sanctity of life and a divine right to life. There is clearly no biblical justification for the radical theology they espouse. This section summarizes God's monumental history of murderous behavior as recorded in holy writ.

We know that God k**led millions of unborn children and their pregnant mothers-to-be in the Noachian deluge, the conquest of Canaan, the incineration of Sodom and Gomorrah and in 20 major slaughters described in the bible. The critical feature of these horrific events is that all people were exterminated. Whenever entire communities were massacred, we can be sure that pregnant mothers-to-be and their unborn children were among the victims. Moreover, there are no stated exemptions for this specific segment of the population.

It can be concluded from this ghastly program of human annihilation that the God of the bible is the greatest mass murderer in history and that he does not care about unborn children or living children or living adults. If God really opposes a******n, why didn't he just say so? Why didn't he authorize one of his trusted spokesmen—Moses, Jesus or Paul—to issue a definitive statement on the subject?

It is also noteworthy that while the bible requires the death penalty for 60 specified criminal violations, a******n is not among them. When all relevant documentation is examined, it is obvious that God does not love the unborn and he certainly does not disapprove of a******n.

Theological questions
Anti-a******n zealots assert that human life begins at conception, and therefore the fertilized egg possesses all constitutional rights of a living person. It follows that destruction of a conceived embryo (blastocyst) is murder. This is the basis for the personhood argument which has been defeated in five statewide initiatives since 2010.

The bible declares that God breathed life into man's body (Genesis 2:7). At least a dozen more verses indicate that breath is synonymous with life. This scriptural t***h completely contradicts the personhood dogma.

More importantly, if the fertilized ovum is a person, as anti-a******n extremists claim, then God's record as the greatest murderer of unborn children is expanded further. That is because most fertilized eggs either fail to implant in the uterine wall and pass out of the body or do implant, begin to develop and then are spontaneously aborted. Fewer than one-third of fertilized ova survive to become living humans.

Why does God murder untold millions of these "persons" every year in the U.S. alone? Why did God, who allegedly loves the unborn and h**es a******n, k**l so many unborn children, adolescents and adults throughout biblical history? Why do fundamentalists pursue a political agenda that is thoroughly refuted by God's word?

Anti-a******n antilogies
Among those who deny women's reproductive rights, numerous contradictory positions are observed. For example, some prominent politicians who want to overturn Roe v. Wade would allow exceptions for rape, incest, severe fetal a******lity and/or life of the mother. These exceptions necessarily require destroying the fetus, which is the very action they condemn. In other words, the murder of unborn children is acceptable when anti-a******n politicians approve.

Another blatant inconsistency involves physicians who want to defund Planned Parenthood because it provides aborted fetuses for medical research. Yet, some of these physicians have themselves conducted research using aborted fetuses. Furthermore, medical investigations using fetal tissue have produced lifesaving v*****es and therapeutic interventions that have benefited everyone.

The most d********g contradiction exists between the radical activists' preferred label "pro-life" and their horrific record of godly violence. In the 40 years since Roe v. Wade, was decided, eight a******n providers have been murdered and 17 have been maimed or seriously injured. More than 6,000 acts of violence have been perpetrated, including fire bombings, arsons, kidnappings, assaults and death threats. These agents of violence are accurately labeled "Christian terrorists."

The activists who want to make a******n illegal invariably call themselves "Christian conservatives," stating that they want to reduce government intrusion and eliminate burdensome regulations that limit personal liberty. They say they want to get government off our backs and out of our lives. Except, of course, when they want to use the coercive power of government to inflict their theological beliefs on everybody else, especially in matters of reproduction and sexuality.

After 40 years with at least 1 million elective a******ns annually, opponents still refuse to endorse programs that are proven to reduce a******ns, such as family planning that stresses contraception and comprehensive sexuality education.

Instead they promote abstinence-only, ignorance curricula. If they would focus their efforts on preventing unwanted pregnancies, they would stop many more a******ns than their politically coercive and sometimes violent tactics have stopped. Ironically, the crusaders help to cause the a******ns they denounce.

A 'holocaust'
Dogmatists condemn what they call the "holocaust" of 56 million a******ns since Roe v. Wade became the law of the land. At the same time, they spend tens of billions of dollars annually building and operating their grandiose megachurches, Christian academies and other programs to promote fundamentalist doctrines. If they really want to prevent the murder of unborn children, why don't they just use some of their vast wealth to pay women not to have a******ns?

Lastly, the most egregious contradiction occurs whenever the religionists invoke a biblical justification for their sanctimonious stance, because the Judeo-Christian God simply does not care about the lives of pregnant women and their unborn children. A******n opponents cite a dozen verses that refer to the developing fetus but not one that condemns a******n.

The bible is an unending compilation of atrocities illustrating God's penchant for feticide, infanticide and the wholesale slaughter of adults.

Conclusion
Prominent women's rights groups like Planned Parenthood, the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, NARAL Pro-choice America, Emily's List and the National Organization for Women should confront the zealots about the complete lack of biblical support for their position. For the past decade, surveys have indicated that about two-thirds of Americans think a******n should remain legal. A 2015 poll put the figure at 80%.

Among institutions, Planned Parenthood has the highest approval (45%) and Congress has the lowest (8%). Why don't reproductive rights advocates attack the anti-a******n terrorists with the same ferocity that the zealots exhibit in their ongoing campaign of harassment, violence and dishonesty? The t***h is that the bible does not endorse the fundamentalist Christian assault on women's reproductive health.

In fact, God is clearly pro-a******n.

As for being equal to god--I am simply untwisting how you twisted the statements. That has no reflection on how I view god but how I view you. In terms of a******n vs miscarriage (gods method for a******n), there is no difference between the two--both negate any rights that a fetus may have--unless we view the fetus as a lump of cells without any intrinsic rights to start out with.

At conception was Jesus fully God and fully man in the womb of His mother of did He need first to be born?

I have a very serious issue with Christianity, and Christian's, when it comes to life, death, and children's. My late brother Rev. Carl Thomas, (may he rest in peace), was indoctrinated into homosexuality in the church.

After reading theses posts on a******n, and the Biblical statements made, which I partially agree with, and respectfully some that I disagree with.

I read 20 reasons to abandon Christianity, by Chaz Biufe, in my attempt to understand the proposition and solicitation of a openly homosexual Pastors, during his deceptive sermon.

If Christianity is ever to disappear, it will be because individual human beings WAKE UP, abandon their destructive, repressive belief, and choose life, to be here now.

Christianity claim of a mystery place called HELL and HEAVEN, are false claims, because hell and heaven are States of being, spiritual, emotional, and mentally and physically.

While today there are Liberal Clergy who preach a Gospel of love, they ignorae me bulk of the Christian teachings, not to mention the bulk of Christian history.

Throughout almost its entire time on Earth, the motor driving Christianity has been---in addition to the fear of death---fear of the devil 👹and fear of HELL.

While casting those whom they disagree into hell, or into prison, or acts of defamation, discrimination, promoting of sucide and sexual abuse.

There is T***h and lies in Christianity, as well as other religious beliefs, Islam and Judaism.

I witnessed in a Christian Church in the Bronx, NY, beautiful Latino female Minister interjecting the fear of the devil into the members, and displaying the hand sign of the devil 🤘.

A federal database contradicts Democrats claims that federal law protect babies born alive after butcher a******ns, showing that nearly 600 infants have died from failed a******ns over 20 years.

Democrats senators justified their refusal to v**e in favor of the Born-alive. a******n surviviors protection act, which failed to overcome a filibuster v**e of 53-44.

The issue of a******n falls on both males and females sexual practices, responsibility and sexual decisions, absent lust of the flesh or sexual desires.

All life is a blessing and anointed by the grand architect of the universe, sun, moon and stars; the darkness of the womb mirrors the outer Pitt darkness of the universe.

Part 2

• God will punish the Israelites by destroying their unborn children, who will die at birth, or perish in the womb, or never even be conceived (Hosea 9:10-16).

Once again, the dishonesty of the author of the above false conclusion is on open display.

First note the very first words above: "God will punish...", thus the death of these disobedient servants of Yahweh will be carried over to their children. These deaths that l*****ts are claiming are justified, WERE PUNISHMENTS!!! L*****ts are thus implying only that they, by being likewise disobedient to God, are justified in being likewise punished!

To understand God's justice in such a case, one needs to hear what His word explains. For example:

"The soul who sins, he shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him." Ezekiel 18:20

This whole chapter in Ezekiel refutes the whole doctrine of "Original Sin". What confuses some people, who are prone to jumping to conclusions, is that God does say this:

"you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who h**e me," Exodus 20:5

"Visiting the iniquity" simply means we inherit traits of our parents, both genetically, and morally, by being influenced by them as they raise us. It doesn't mean children will be eternally damned or justified by their parent's actions. On that, God is very clear:

"5But if a man is just, and does that which is lawful and right... 9... he is just, he shall surely live, says the Lord Yahweh.
10If he fathers a son who is a robber, a shedder of blood, and who does any one of these things... 13... he shall not live: he has done all these a*********ns; he shall surely die; his blood shall be on him." Ezekiel 18:5-13

So, God's word is simply teaching us, A) that the actions of our lives have consequences, and B) those consequences don't only affect ourselves, and C) no one will be punished with eternal death who hasn't personally committed their own sin.

Jesus said this:

"Don't be afraid of those who k**l the body, but are not able to k**l the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna." Matthew 10:28

No murderer, a******nists included, have the power to k**l a soul. Only God has that authority. Now here's an amazing statement:

"Precious in the sight of Yahweh is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15

That is because,

"1For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens...4For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened; not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life... 8We are courageous, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord. 9Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him. 10For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:1-10

And-

"He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away." Revelation 21:4

So then, unborn babies, who have a value to God equal to post-birth humans, will not have done anything by which they are guilty of death. God is actually duty-bound to give them a free pass to eternal life.

"28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:21

"He said to the disciples, 'It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.'"Like 17:1-2

• For rebelling against God, Samaria's people will be k**led, their babies will be dashed to death against the ground, and their pregnant women will be ripped open with a sword (Hosea 13:16).

Once again, post and pre-born babies are morally equivalent. If this weren't the case, as the lying author concludes, why would the loss of the lives of the pre-born even be worth mentioning?

• Jesus did not express any special concern for unborn children during the anticipated end times: "Woe to pregnant women and those who are nursing" (Matthew 24:19).

Neither did he justify aborting unborn human babies. But he did say this:

“Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill." Matthew 5:17

The writer of the subject article has been proven to be a liar and deceiver who is either not familiar enough with the subject matter, or he is purposefully being deceiving.

Either way, he has nullified his credibility.

Anyone who listens to him is either likewise lying, or is blind being led by the blind.

I love this biblical Scripture, and it resonate with the sad state of affairs, community service providers, and government contructs.

Spiritual dead, dumb and blind, and in light of my constructive criticism of Caucasian females--i take my hat off to them 💖.

Because, they are spiritually Illuminated and more conscious then most females in my community, and the Latino Americans females community, respectfully..

Additionally, thanks for the enlightenment on one of OPP member Tommy.

I believe he is. This fecklessfaction character is a mirror image in style, same trigger points.

Loved to express his love of infanticide..of which has recently is doing as feckless.

He allegedly told Slatten that right wingnuts got him kicked off of OPP...that in itself is virtually unbelievable.

I debated bb often and fecklessfaction appears to be him.

There are a few people who use multiple handles on this board.

I’ve seen that before too. Just checked again. The only reason I checked before is because I was sure he was lying when he said he got booted.

He’s on now. Looks like ‘fiction is him.

Yes, I think so, too. The only thing different is that 'fiction is not posting those silly memes that bb did...yet.

*************************************************************************************

We cannot trust the academics anymore they would rewrite anything the progressive g*******ts ask them to do including creating the 'G****l W*****g' which is now becomes 'C*****e C****e' because of the g****l w*****g and cooling rotation; and they admitted that so to get GRANTS.

I know of an activist judge who twisted the US Constitution around and spreader it around to make it the reality to suit the g*******ts agenda.

She with Bible it had been rewritten multiple times throughout the centuries and God knows who did what?

We have a c*******t Pope Francis claims Islam & Christianity can live together even though we can see that Muslims have k**led Christians around the world. And the irony is the Vatican wall was built to protect the churches from the Muslims invasion.

Spin, spin, spin. You cherry-pick ten aberrations and expect to use them as a base for an argument? Sorry, it doesn't work that way. In this one " For worshiping idols, God declared that not one of his people would live, not a man, woman or child (not even babies in arms), again confuting assertions about the sanctity of life (Jeremiah 44:7-8)." Why didn't you say it was about Sodom and Gomorrah? And that those people had turned their backs on God? Vagueness was better for your narrative wasn't it? I'm sorry k*****g a man or woman or child is murder, so k*****g an unborn child? To me that's murdering 2, the mother probably and the child.
