Thank you Mike. We all love nature. The poem when I was small. " All things bright and beautiful. All creatures great and small. All things wise and wonderful. The Lord God made them all."

Me too. I'm also a Pit Bull owner. Great dogs, you just have to train them properly

Stop grieving for the cat. Its way past time for that. You enjoyed her while you had her and took good care of her and that's what matters. Not everyone enjoys their animals or takes good care of them. Remember the good times.

You'll enjoy a dog even more.

Thank you. Having a pet is a wonderful feeling when they are around. But when they part, that moment is painful of losing. Thus I cry.

I also cried when my dog Sparky died. He lived up to 16 years. That was during the 80's I got him when he was a puppy. He was a Cockapoo. He gave me love and company for many years. Dogs are wonderful.

16 years is a long time! I had to recently put down a dog - she was almost 16. Dogs are great companions. I don’t ever want to be without one.

I cried when I had to put down mine too. But I remember the great times and how blessed I was to have such a great dog. They are a gift from God.

Here's my encounter with a pug.
While waiting in a guest room at Toyota dealer last June, 2019.
A guy with a young pug entered. The pug approached me, and jumped on my lap. I wondered why. I cuddled him, but he started licking my face. I felt so embarrassed I thought I had some smell. But I enjoyed touching him though. And the owner apologized. Few minutes later, I was called, my car was done. I walked to the door and the pug followed me until I closed the door behind.

The dog was drawn to you for some reason. Perhaps you were troubled by something?

No I thought the dog liked me. That happened before also. This time it was a cat. It was 1991, Dec. I happened to come home late around 9 PM, finishing a project for a year-end deadline.

As I opened my car in a parking lot, a white cat jumped in to come home with me. I noticed she had a collar and perhaps owner. So, I put her back down a little further. As I drove slowly, I saw her running trying to catch me, so I went a little faster so she could not follow. I thought it was a ghost. But they were so cute. I wanted to hug both of them.
