In fact, I always v**ed Libertarian until Trump vs Clinton. I always v**ed my conscience. But this time my conscience couldn’t live with not making sure the most corrupt woman in politics in the history of the world, so far as my education goes, did not get v**ed into office.

But, also, as I recall, there was some wobbling with Libertarians over right-to-life vs Pro-Choice, and I figured, if a platform can’t formally recognize the importance of right-to-life, they may not have their moral compass pointing the way it ought at its most basic level.

What President Trump did was change the entire narrative of the 2016 e******n. The narrative, both right and left, was L***Q, black, Hispanic, Muslim rights. Yawn, s**k of it. Gun control. Uh huh. Cuts to social security, welfare and other "entitlements". Uh huh. Social security is paid into. 8.65% per year. No matter how little you make there is no relief from that payment. So yes, those that pay in are ENTITLED to the promised pay out. Not a damn word about what everyday people wanted to hear. JOBS was a big one. He delivered. BORDER SECURITY was a big one, particularly for border states. Hes slugging it out. Unfair trade practices ( we were still at levels with trade and tariffs as after WWII, when Europe and Japan were decimated, and most of the far east was still 3rd world). Hes delivering. He gave voice to the things so many wanted addressed. Every time you post about our President, Rumi, your hatred and disdain drips through.

Rumitoid, what you need to “reasonably assess” is the alternatives we had to choose from in 2016, and the ones on the left who are standing in line for 2020, and then Trump’s personal idiosyncrasies won’t sound so offensive.

Why don’t you try reasonably assessing the big picture alternative that l*****ts want open borders, sanctuary cities for i*****l a***ns, and me, you, and every other American to pay for them through taxes, so they can have free (for them) health care and welfare? Anyone who can reasonably assess that option would instantly realize that will totally bankrupt America, and will let in all manner of MS13 criminals, terrorists and many others with no interest in actually assimilating into American culture, and turn America into a third world country in a heartbeat and then how will America help other countries out? I have only seen 2 political threads that you started that weren't damning of President Trump's policies - and person. I am not and would never condemn you. I was simply pointing out that there were far more reasons than "the wall" that President Trump was elected. He truly did change the narrative in 2016 and turn it to issues people were interested in. Which is why he will most likely win in 2020. Because so far in the dem debates all I have seen as a platform is special treatment for special interests, unfettered, uncontrolled immigration and unsustainable free stuff. And of course orange man bad. That's not going to cut it. I would love to see a towering statesman as President of these United States. BUT first we needed a reset from insane and self destructive policies. And President Trump stood up as our clean up man. There aren't many who could continue to function and flourish in the toxic environment DC has become. IMO.

Trump is a total amoral, narcissistic, and worthless individual. He is almost single-handedly destroying this country and definitely its image and standing in the world. He is a clear and present danger to our national security. His policies are slowly revealing that they are undermining all that we stand for and our financial solvency. For all we knew, he could have been replaced in Moscow during the Miss Universe Contest, on a break from grabbing their pussies and lured to grabbing more.
