I've had it.. Not fun.. I collapsed, my b/p was 68/40.. and since then I can only be out in the heat for minutes at a time...sadly puttin the kabash on yard work.. my dog is inside also.. while the heat isn't As bad as the east coast, but it's like walkin into a blast furnace...I got her some doggie booties, but she's not cooperating lettin me put them on.. so I'll have to wait for dusk... Oh and I agree with puttin the progressive in the car vs my dog.. hell I don't even take her in the car when the weather is in the 70's bc the car is about 120..til the ac kicks on...even so.. can't take her in stores sooo no car rides...Ya know it's hot..when the air you breathe is hotter than the cig smoke.. although tryin to quit...I had quit for bout 4 months, but fell off the non smoker wagon..

My wife talked to a friend yesterday who k**led her own dog in the heat. Her, and her boyfriend took her Boxer on a hike in Palo Duro Canyon where it's about 10 degrees hotter down in the canyon. They thought giving the dog water along the way would do it, but the dog died on the trail. I***ts!
Our two have to stay out while we're at work during they day, but they have shade, fresh water, and one of those plastic little kids swimming pools full of water that is refreshed daily. When we're home, they're in, and out as they please.

I have to say, cigs are the hardest thing to quit, even knowing what I do...& Family history.. everytime at the docs office my oxygen is around 95-97% which I hear is a good thing, would kinda like to keep it that high

I smoked and did grass when I was a teenager, quit both when I graduated high school. My brother did drugs, smoked and did a number of other highly destructive things and they k**led him.

Sadly, I've been smokin for a Lot of years... actually started feelin good for a change during that 4 months of not smokin and I can't even tell ya why I started again bc even I don't know that one...
Far as canabis.. I do that medicinally...breast cancer, nausea, so rather do canabis over opiates for pain...(I h**e opiates) no thanks..docs are ok with that...I don't however sit around and get stupid all day.. I do it like most take an aspirin and go on about my day...I'm too much of a control freak regarding my own brain..
