Excellent post. It very much reflects my thoughts.

The title of this thread is offensive. Everyone over 50 knows that SPADE was a slang term for a black man. How dare you even mention that term, how terribly h**efully.
Now, doesn't that sound absurd? Then why to you progressives keep insulting conservatives using the same {ill} logic?

Okay, soap box time. (sigh)

I didn't. And I was raised in the South. Don't understand how calling a garden hand digging tool equates to being black. First time I heard (read) this, is here on this site. Then again I don't understand how being color blind is a bad thing.

I view each person by their physical actions, personal speech, and writings as a individual.

Race, political side, sex, g****r etc has nothing to do with how I view them, Until they trample the Constitution, our nation's laws, my rights to practice my Christianity.

When the person (at any level-high or low) vows to mock our laws by being lawless, enables others to break those laws, attempts to pass laws that will "put me under" the "state's thumb" thus forcing me to break God's divine purpose, well then, I have no trouble calling an individual the devil's spawn, disciple of Satan, C*******t, far right libuturd, etc. Because a C*******t is for "the common good", state ownership of lands, businesses, monies--by force (unto death) if necessary.

Yes, I live in a land of plenty. Earned, by my own hands, that which I own. Serve God and country. I will not be silent. To do so is to allow sin to prosper and win. Each man has his own conscience, and each man will answer before God.

There's a quote somewhere that goes, "it is better to be thought a fool, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt." Some of our politicians ought to just shut up, however, the more they talk, the more certain I am of how I must v**e.

Have a wonderful day. It is a gift from God. Use it wisely.

That is a term I used for years, I'd say "I'm just calling a spade a spade", and it meant this is what it is. Growing up my dad was one of the most r****t bigots I've ever known, he got it from his father who was a bigot that truly h**ed b****s. My dad had a difficult time with me having a black friend growing up. My dad's favorite alternate labels for b****s besides the commonly used word n****r was spade, coon, boon, and jigaboo. My mom refused to hear the N word and rebuked him for it every time she heard it.

When the term spade is used in a way that has nothing to do with a black person chances are the person using it is not thinking about a black person as the reference. Most people can easily understand when the term spade is used in reference to a black person, only obtuse i***ts say things like "that isn't what I meant", it's exactly what was meant when the reference is what it's about.

My point here is that a r****t knows exactly what a r****t is, they don't like b****s or other races of people.
That is a term I used for years, I'd say "I'm... (show quote)

But those calling everyone a r****t gets old when there is not proof of this being a correct statement. People can have a different point of view and not be r****t. That r****t quote is the most used by the left of any attack on those that don't think like they do.

People are tired of this. The left uses the term r****t to put others on the defensive, and make them curl up like a salted slug begging for forgiveness. It doesn't work. They've overused it to the point that it's meaningless to anybody with two brain cells.

These people, people like Woodrow here try to convince us that we're r****t, but just dont know we are because we don't buy their garbage.
They want to dictate the language to us. These are Totalitarian wannabe's in their finest form.

I say screw em! If I want to dig up flower beds with a spade, I'm gonna do it, and call it a spade!

Most of us are shaped by the type of work we do. The fact that woodguru persists in using the r****t accusation, I wonder if he worked in education ? On universities it is common to punish your enemies by calling them r****ts.

I am a multi racial American who believes that pre 60's segregated America was a much better place to live. The only improvement needed was the right to v**e passed for people of African decent. In all the efforts to integrate the races, only hatred and violence were produced. People do not know what r****m is today. B***k A******ns years ago segregated themselves and formed prosperous cities in Oklahoma and other states. They/We were strong Christians with a better church attendance record than White folks. We stayed married longer than my White family members. I love them both, don't get me wrong but facts are facts. I believe that Lyndon Johnson was the biggest r****t that ever lived and hurt America more than the Japanese at Pearl Harbor. His life was an evil lie and ten to one he's burning in he'll.

For myself, I just used the phrase on a post about Rashib Illuchi or wh**ever the crap her name is. I said Trump is just calling a spade a spade. A spade is a single card from the suit called spades, or it is a type of shovel ( a digging shovel).

Only the r****ts think the term is r****t because they need to keep the race card alive.

Weird, that's just like my dad and his dad. A generational thing? I don't bother with PC crap, just say wh**ever I think and let the chips fall where they may.
