Would you want the pilot of your airplane to be high, or the guy behind the wheel of that 80,000 lb truck coming at you? I don't know about pilots, but I know for a fact about how a lot of truck drivers used to roll back in the day, and over years of driving the highways, I've seen more horrific crashes involving trucks than I can count.
I commercial fished for a time here and at the time half the fleet were meth heads. One boat I was on was so bad that the skipper would be asleep at the wheel when we were on the back deck and we constantly had to run to the wheel house to avoid collisions. The money is big --real big but I will not go to sea again.
