Mr. Carson,

It is an honor and pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am humbled that a man of your stature appreciated what I posted, and more so that you’re looking forward to the next essay, I am near speechless, my hope is that I don’t disappoint.

Thank you for your service, it is not lost on me that we have this ability to communicate freely because of men like you. I am 27 years old (28 next month) and history is a passion of mine also. My favorite aspect is the verbiage used by the men of that era, some around my age find essays like this boring and tedious, they have no idea of the treasure(s) they’re missing. I assure you though, there are many like me out there that appreciate what you and your generation has passed on to us.

Thank you so much for the encouragement.

Great Article. Thank you. Must be brought to light more often. Millennials must learn more of history. They are so indoctrinated that Socialism now prevails on their heads thus demanding to follow.

Feudalism was a form of government of the British Empire through King George 111. It is the dominant social system in medieval Europe, in which the nobility held lands from the Crown in exchange for military service, and vassals were in turn tenants of the nobles, while the peasants (serfs) were obliged to live on their lord's land and give him homage, labor, and a share of the produce, notionally in exchange for military protection.

When the US Colony was established, series of struggles encountered between the King of England and the Colonial Empire.

The Seven Year War, or the French and Indian War, which ended in 1763, though gave the British Empire victory, but had incurred so much debts. Raising revenue prompted the British Empire to impose series of taxes to the colony like the Sugar tax in 1964, and the Stamp tax in 1965. Purpose was to support the British military control in the colony.

The Colony deemed British taxes to be so pervasive called on the taxation without representation. Many officers of the colony resisted. The resistance came from various colonial leaders. One of that was a young lawyer Patrick Henry who resisted but was labeled by the British Empire as treasonous. The young lawyer Henry came to his famous speech during the 2nd Virginia convention on 1775. "Give me Liberty or Give me Death."

The crisis occurred within the next decades of struggles between the colony and the British Empire which eventually led to the colonies Independence in 1776.
John Adams (1735-1826)—John Adams was the first Vice-President of the United States and the second President. He was a member (along with Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Robert Livingston and Roger Sherman) chosen to draft the Declaration of Independence.

Thank you, Radiance. Excellent addition, and we should be diving into that more next week. I just wanted to say, that not all millennials are indoctrinated, I know polls show it’s more than half, I’m one, and don’t think I am, and many friends of mine are like me... there’s almost nothing better than debating a liberal progressive millennial and watching them slowly come over to your side.

Look into a club called the Junto, also called the leather apron club, started long ago but the tradition carries on to this day. If you know any young people, or anyone interested, there could quite possibly be one near you.

You are a great patriot Critical Critic. Thank you. At your young age, you have brought us one of the most valuable tools that reminisce footprints of our history, and nourish the young and old hungry souls that need to be feed with the these historical substance in their brains. I am grateful you are doing this. It is very interesting.

Knowing more of our history, and where we came from, allows us to appreciate and love more our country. Good readings to all, patriot conservatives. I am with you.

I wish the liberals and Socialist DEMS learn more of these.

I am convinced that your teachings in history will revive the love and patriotism of many in this OPP. I know your own group has the same sentiment for the love of our country.

History is very interesting. But first we must master our own US history then perhaps someday we touch into the Greek philosophers Plato, Aristotle, and Socrates. And it even comes interesting when we touch the Medieval Age in Europe from the 11th century run via the King's feudal rule, and its relationship to the Roman Empire.
