Then again, Cooling could plunge us into the next Ice Age and people would be migrating away from the cold down to a warmer region. Again civilizations trying to survive with Nature.

A great post, i have heard about a bit of what you mentioned, Venus l think was like Earth once but got hot, it got real hot, I don't make the association to virgins but many do, and have done so for a long time, the venus fly trap only recently got rebranded as honey trap because the Spies Union came down very hard asking the spy chiefs' for a better working image of their operatives.

But I will go read that article which I posted, I knew about it because I heard NASA was tying the axis drift to man made c*****e c****e.

I watch "PBS Space Time" channel, I think "Is an Ice Age Coming". represents my understanding of the situation up to a point.

At the moment were in a brief interglacial stage that should be a short period compared to the cold period, the warm period we're in is known as the Holocene period which started 11,000 years ago but the cold periods preceding this lasted 7 times longer, that's
a ratio of 1warm year to 7 cold years, this sequence of events began 400,000 years ago.

And I've heard before that we should be going back into a long cold period, but we're getting hotter instead of colder, which is the problem.

Glacial ice cores and ocean sediments tell the story, the oldest ice core trapped gas 800,000 years ago, and our present cycle of ice age chemical and isotopic history dates back to 400,000 yag when something changed the previous pattern.

So a we now represent a warm interlude in the middle of an ice age that is probably being affected by a "non build up" of reflective snow and cooling ocean temperatures.

With Carbon at 400 ppm.+, representing the possible causation of a game changer that could recalibrate the cold moderate equilibrium to be a one way ticket to hell we should be concerned and taking action.

Particularly in view of the Venus example, because the original model that changed 400,000 y.a.g. to be the one we we are blessed with since Earth warmed up 11,000 y.a.g. Is based on snow and ice build up causing cool oceans and massive reflection of heat back into space.

If this cold build up doesn't happen the Mailankovitch climate cycles instead of going from an climate period having a ratio of 12,000 years moderate to 84,000 very cold to become the opposite, hot 12,000 years to extremely hot for 84,000 years.

This interdependence of environmental factors is already well understood with rainfall in Australia affected by the El Nino climate cycle.

I'm not sure if anyone from the scientific community makes this El Nino connection.
