What is Socialism?
Socialism is an economic system where the means of production, such as money and other forms of capital, are owned by the state or public. Under a socialist system, everyone works for wealth that is in turn distributed to everyone. Under capitalism, you work for your own wealth.

A socialist economic system operates on the premise that what is good for one is good for all. Everyone works for their own good and for the good of everyone else. The government decides how wealth is distributed among the people.

What is Capitalism?
United States Capitalism is first inspired by God, the basic foundation of our Founders principles on the Declaration of Independence: Excerpt.
“We hold these t***hs to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, “

Our capital source is Liberty or Freedom from God in order to pursue our happiness, (achieve).

Capitalism is an economic system where the means of production are owned by private individuals, or corporations. "Means of production" refers to resources including money and other forms of capital. Under a capitalist economy, the economy runs through individuals who own and operate private companies. Decisions over the use of resources are made by the individual or individuals who own the company.

In a capitalist society, companies that incorporate are typically treated by the same laws as individuals. Corporations can sue and be sued. They can buy and sell property. They can perform many of the same actions as individuals.

Under capitalism, companies live by the profit motive. They exist to make money. All companies have owners and managers. Sometimes, especially in small businesses, the owners and managers are the same people. As the business gets larger, the owners may hire managers who may or may not have any ownership stake in the firm. In this case, the managers are called the owner's agents.

The job of the management is more complex than just making a profit. In a capitalist society, the goal of the corporation is maximizing shareholder wealth.

Under capitalism, it is the government's job by enforcing laws and regulations to make sure there is a level playing field for privately-run companies. The amount of governing laws and regulations in a particular industry generally depends on the potential for abuse in that industry.

The unlimited potential of men endowed by God unlimited wisdom to create, innovate, invent, produce, work, to the full extent of the God given rights. Thus, United States is the most successful, productive and inventive of all science that advanced civilization of the world.

We then became the richest, most powerful country that leads people to the full dignity and respect of mankind under the guideline of our Judeo -Christian principles.

No country in the world has ever succeeded in Socialist form of governance.
Some countries have mixture of socialism and capitalism. Taxes there are so high that most people are not able to own properties. Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands.

United States is the richest country in the world because of Capitalism.

What's really sad.. is that Libs think they will retain their individuality, and they think that the rich should pay for everyone.. Socialism will lose you more than just your money.. you will also lose yourself..

I think They think that since they have been kissin butt for so long they won't be in the line of fire.. Maybe They should read the quran...they may note that it's not the religion of peace they think it is...outspoken women.. and the entire gay community...Jews, Christians....anyone that is not of their "faith" infidels.. etc etc..

You are Absolutely Right!.. Many Many Lives!!.. I don't think that the left get that...I don't think the Left understand how close socialism is to c*******m...and how quickly that "social medicine" can flip on them..I have Lots of friends that are Brits, Dutch..Italian, Canadian.. etc.. they mostly carry private insurance, (Yes, that supposedly can still be done under a socialist regime) because They tell me, social medicine sucks..a LOT of hurry up and wait, for appointments, for surgeries, and God forbid you are no longer a useful member of society!.. A lot come here because maybe they have out of country policies.

This militant mentality of the left wanting total control and wondering just how far they will go to get it!!!.. It's insulting & scary! A Bit too close for comfort.

There are a couple movies that kind of remind me of this "Socialist Utopia" they anticipate.. 1) Logan's Run 2) Solient Green, For all intents thinning the "herd"
