I haven't seen Scruffy of the Red Eyes today, but workman were here replacing windows, then it rained most of the afternoon.

Even the cat is still hiding under my bed upstairs.

Sorry, maybe he next day is beautiful. Hope you enjoy Scruffy next day. They'll be there waiting for you.

Cats are cute too. I love them purr, purr, and purr.

The baby rabbits are most gentle and beautiful. I have 5 babies last year under the flower bed. They were light greyish and white. The Mama rabbit ate grass at the backyard. I shredded carrots but did not eat.

We have such a mild summer this year.
Last week I saw a cat at the back with rabbit wiggling from the cat's mouth. I got a wooden stick to scare, the cat seemed willing to fight, but later on dropped the rabbit and run away. I tried to nurse the badly hurt rabbit. Did not make it. Died about half an hour. I dug a whole at the back put the rabbit, with flowers and cried a little bit. It was a sad day for me. I love nature. I feel closer to God.

Even rabbits can be a problem. They are a prey animal and predators take a lot of them. That said I do not like to see an animal wasted. Rabbits seem to not only have predators, but many diseases. There have been more than normal this year, which means that soon diseases will thin them out. I have found one adult and one baby rabbit who died for no apparent reasons.

Sorry for your dead rabbits.
I don't touch them. I'd love to but they run away. I saw them eating grass. I put out some lettuce and shredded carrots but they did not eat. I think the squirrels did. So many things going on. I saw a big black eyed like a huge cat one evening. The backyard light turned on. I was curious peeped thru the drape. It was a big racoon. Do racoons eat rabbits or squirrels?

Raccoons will eat anything, but I doubt they could catch a healthy rabbit or k**l an adult squirrel. They are slow. Adult raccoons are nasty. I accidentally cornered one in the woods years ago and he screamed. We once had a baby raccoon when I was a kid. My friend found it and we bottle fed it for a month. I can't remember what became of it.

Lol, that was fun. Thanks for the stories of baby racoons, squirrels, and rabbits. I think I like them all, and even the humming birds, hovering around my head. Their wings flicker so fast. I want to catch one.

Good night...

This is really getting old Eagle, but I will remind you for the twenty-second time now: HILLARY IS NOT IN OFFICE, therefore, pointing out any so-called scandals of hers is totally irrelevant. Why is it that when confronted with t***h, instead of acknowledging and accepting it, you guys always come back with another "whataboutism" regarding Hillary? pretty weak and pathetic.

BTW; we are still dealing with Democrats that want to follow in Hillary's foot steps.
Thank God they will end up in the same ditch.

Some people are "hard nuts to crack!" I care much more about the r****t statements made by your (f**e) president then I do about freshmen Congresswomen....why aren't you posting his comments? You use the name of God in your h**e not realizing that you would have better luck trying to mix oil and water. sad.

Statements from the failed rag Breitbart? You've got to be kidding! When did expressing a t***hful opinion about Israel become a r****t statement? Even if you are Jewish, an intelligent person knows that sin or wrong doesn't matter what cultural race you come from. So, someone stating that Israel receives tons of money from us doesn't make them anti-Semitic or r****t. If you knew the t***h, France, Germany, and Japan also receive millions of dollars in aide from the US each year, and there are many others. Why would you take the statement that "its' all about the Benjamins" as being anti-Israel? Because republicans have no plan, no platform and no morals so they constantly look for any tidbit they can spin to deflect from their inability to govern -that's why! weak and pathetic.

Trump and the Republicans are doing fine. True they could do better, but Democrats in the House are paralyzed. They did not impeach Trump. They cannot pass anything. They are too busy fighting Trump to do anything else.

Jackson was commissioned as a military General in the US Army. He was a r****t. I've been to his house. My office was a couple miles from the Hermitage, years past.

Plantation mansion. S***e quarters....

On a school field trip in 1969 a boy tried to kiss me behind one of the massive oak trees. Talked him out of it. My best friend had had a crush on him for ages....

Bygones.

Those genocides take a lot of "whitewashing."

Do you know how many tribes were decimated in weeks after being given blankets as gifts that were weaponized with measles v***s?
History is written by the conqueror. br br Jackso... (show quote)
I was born and raised in Indian country, knew a lot of them, went to HS with them, was the only Wasicu in my graduating class, am a blood brother to a Lakota, danced and chanted at the Pow Wows, even learned some of the language.

I am quite intimate with Native American culture and history. The indigenous population was tribal, no different than any other tribal regions throughout history. Afghanistan today is a good example. Tribal conflicts are a fact of tribal cultures.

Nobody is whitewashing genocide. The w****s k**led a lot of Indians and the Indians k**led a lot of w****s (check with GA Custer). The tribes rarely united against the white intruders, a united effort by two or three tribes was local and fleeting. And, even as they fought the w****s, they fought each other.

No point crying over spilled milk.

Democrats are paralyzed because the republicans are complicit. Many agree with Pelosi that bringing the charges of impeachment will not fly in the republican controlled Senate - and doing so would only encourage the swing v**ers to go to the right. A real life Catch 22!

Democrats could legislate if they wanted to. They have allowed Trump to distract them. That is on them.
