I don't think "liberals have created incentives" because considering where and how those immigrants live, almost any place would be better. They come here because it is widely known that "in America, you have rights and liberties other countries do not have...in America, if you work hard and follow the laws you can actually make a living and take care of yourself and family....they believed that in America you would treated fairly based on your own efforts to excel....they believed America was the one place that they could actually experience "freedom."

I wonder, do you ever contribute to charities or help a neighbor solve a problem and expect nothing in return(?) If so, how is it that you can be so brazen and selfish as to deny people seeking more than poverty and excessive violence a chance to better themselves? How do you think you would feel if the shoe was on the other foot and you lived where and how they live?

If I'm sailing down the great river of Denial, then surely you are sailing down that great river of Selfishness and discrimination. We can and should enforce "limitations" on immigration, and I have no problem with that. But this iron clad "no immigrants -unless they're from Norway" - is discriminatory and just plain wrong. period.

Son: I do care about our borders and our laws. In the US Navy, I have fought and shed blood to defend our nation from those seeking to do us harm and more importantly, to spread freedom and humanity throughout the world. To think that I don't care about our country is a huge mistake. However, I think what Trump and these republicans are doing has little to do with concern for our country.

We have millions and millions of acres of uninhabited land, and we have an economy that could sustain millions more than those who currently live here. Why be selfish? Further, we claim our country is founded on the belief of "all men were created equal and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, among these are the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" -yet we don't practice what we preach. Millions here claim to be Christian, yet defy the very laws of God when it comes to "helping your neighbors" and "doing to others as you would have them do unto you."

I have never said, nor have I heard any of the current dems say, "we want open borders with unlimited immigration." What I have constantly heard is "we don't need to be self-serving barbarians in regards to immigration and asylum. We have a system in place to evaluate any claims for asylum, let the immigrants apply and be afforded due process." Trump has eliminated due process by ordering ICE to arrest and detain any would be applicants for asylum and not even let them apply. What type of jackass does that?

Have you ever read Deuteronomy 19:34 (?) "Do not forsake showing kindness to the foreigners among you for you all were once immigrants...and I am the Lord thy God."

He did not say " only " from Norway. He was not making a r****t comment. He was making a statement of the educational and political and cultural compatibility of immigrants.

So who do you believe would be able to melt into American society easier, a person from a war torn country, or a person from an educated, politically stable country ???

How about the Boston Marathon bombers ? They were from a former Soviet Republic and never became Americanized. That is what Trump meant. You choose to see r****m where it does not exist.

If you bring in millions of refugees form broken countries you are looking for trouble. We still take in plenty. Why shouldn't we bring in more people from advanced countries ? Well ?

Right, he didn't say "only Norway" - but he definitely said which countries he would prefer not to take immigrants from...and that is being discriminatory. Trump (deliberately) overlooks that there are "bad apples" in all countries, which includes the US and Israel too. Why are we suddenly worried about the educational, political, and cultural abilities of immigrants - that surely wasn't a concern during s***ery was it? The Boston Bombers are no different than the 9-11 people or anyone who chooses to release h**e upon innocent people. Becoming "Americanized" is not a cure because we have plenty who were born and raised here all their lives and they still murder and blow up stuff. Trying to label 'immigrants' as some special group of evil doers is not logical - it is discrimination. period. We allow Russians to immigrate here, as well as Chinese and other Asian people, while claiming that their countries are hostile towards us -so why does Trump make a big deal about Hispanics? Why does Trump repeatedly tell the lie that MS-13 gang members seek to "destroy America" when they began as a gang here in America's prisons? We have gangs in virtually every major city in America...but you never hear republicans mention them - why? Americans had no problems bringing in immigrants from Africa and Europe to work their (stolen) land and crops and raise their children - and the main reason you have immigrants is because they are fleeing "broken and torn" countries for a better life. Your reasoning is illogical and comes across as just r****t. sad.

You are locked on R****T. That is your problem. Tell me something ? How many immigrants do you want into America ? How many is too many ? You do realize that immigrants need to be absorbed into the American economy ? Or maybe you don't realize that. So again, how many is too many ?

And are all immigrants created equal ? Answer me. Do you think that a person from a really poor area, with no education, can contribute to American Society the same as a highly sk**led and highly educated person ? Do you think that person with no sk**ls and no education is more likely to be a burden on their adopted country than the person with sk**ls and education who comes from an advanced nation ?

How about 100,000 or one million immigrants ? Which country do you want sending one million of their citizens to America, Norway or Kyrgyzstan ?

If you are going to post misleading statements like that I will call you out on them. Misleading is not the proper word, but I will be kind. MS13 was formed when immigrants from El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Guatemala streamed into La area neighborhoods controlled by Mexican gangs. I will not even mention WTF Mexican Gangs were doing in the LA neighborhoods of the United States because you might think that R****T of me and I am sensitive to your charges of R****M !

MS-13 was the avenue that those new immigrants, who were used to war zones, could compete with what is called the Mexican Mafia.

Again you seem to imply that MS-13 is a purely American phenomena. It was the result of a wave of Central American immigrants coming into America. I welcome you response.
