Again that is interesting. Do me a favor and Google the term "ilhan omar date of birth" and tell me what you find?

Better yet, let me do this for you.

Early life and education
Omar was born in Mogadishu on October 4, 1982,[4][5] and spent her early years in Baidoa, Somalia.[6][7] She was the youngest of seven siblings, including Sahra Noor. Her father Nur Omar Mohamed, an ethnic Somali, worked as a teacher trainer,[8] and her mother, Fadhuma Abukar Haji Hussein, a Benadiri (a community of partial Yemeni descent), died when Ilhan was two.[9][10][11][12] She was raised by her father and grandfather thereafter.[13] Her grandfather Abukar was the director of Somalia's National Marine T***sport and some of Omar's uncles and aunts also worked as civil servants and educators.[8] She and her family fled Somalia to escape the war and spent four years in a Dadaab refugee camp in Garissa County, Kenya, near the Somali border.[14][15][16]

After first arriving in New York in 1992,[17] Omar's family finally secured asylum in the U.S. in 1995 and lived for a time in Arlington, Virginia,[11] before moving to and settling in Minneapolis,[11] where her father worked first as a taxi driver and later for the post office.[11] Her father and grandfather emphasized the importance of democracy during her upbringing, and at age 14 she accompanied her grandfather to caucus meetings, serving as his interpreter.[13][18] Omar became a U.S. citizen in 2000 when she was 17 years old.[19][11] She has spoken about being bullied for wearing a hijab during her time in Virginia, recalling classmates sticking gum on it, pushing her down stairs, and jumping her when changing for gym class.[11] Omar remembers her father's reaction to these incidents: "They are doing something to you because they feel threatened in some way by your existence."[11]

Omar attended Edison High School and volunteered there as a student organizer.[20] She graduated from North Dakota State University[18] with bachelor's degrees in political science and international studies in 2011.[21] Omar was a Policy Fellow at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs.[22]

Fascinating, but none of which relates to the issue at hand. Is she a citizen, and if so, how did this occur, because if she was born on October 4, 1981 as shown in Google search, that does not appear to be possible for reasons articulated in the article.

Perhaps Google search is wrong, and perhaps her own Minnesota legislative page was wrong in showing her birthdate as October 4,1981. But it is certainly appropriate to seek and expect clarification of this inconsistency.

Just because some may either accidentally or deliberately misrepresent her age, that doesn't make it so., my search shows more accurate information but then I don't "google".

Here is what I get with same search criteria.

Ill hand omar could be one of ovommit's daughters. Like Ovommit she lacks integrity is anti-Semitic and should be charged with numerous felonies and kicked out of the country. My size 18 shoes could be used for the kicking.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (born October 13, 1989)

There is also:

Elise Marie Stefanik ( born July 2, 1984)

Abby Lea Finkenauer (born December 27, 1988)

They are BOTH. Stefanik and Finkenauer, younger than Ilhan Omar, as is AOC, the youngest of the 4 mentioned, Omar being the oldest of the 4. Might there be some Islamophobia involved in this thread?

Hal Turner is questioning the legality of her citizenship.

"Interviews and the public record provide that Congresswoman Ilhan Omar claims to have obtained U.S. citizenship in the year 2000 as a 17-year-old, a minor."

"There are three paths a foreign-born child may obtain U.S. citizenship through their parents:[3]

· Acquisition of citizenship

· Derivation of citizenship

· Application for citizenship under Section 322 of the Immigration and Naturalization Act

Acquisition of citizenship for Ilhan Omar would not apply because one or both parents must have been U.S. citizens at the time of her birth in Somalia.

Citizenship by derivation requires that foreign-born children who turned 18 years old on or after February 27, 2001, are eligible to gain citizenship through their parents. Ilhan Omar’s widely published birth date of October 4, 1981 means she turned 18 in 1999 and 19 in 2000, and therefore, was ineligible to gain citizenship by derivation.

And finally, Certificate of Citizenship under I.N.A. Section 322 would require Ilhan Omar’s father having already obtained U.S. citizenship before she turned 18 years of age. But given the Omar family arrived in the U.S. in 1995, and adult refugees having a five-year waiting period, means Ilhan’s father could not have applied for naturalization until the year 2000—when Ilhan was an adult. Ilhan Omar could not have gained citizenship through her father under I.N.A. Section 322."

It is not the age of the candidate, nor is it "Islamophobia" that is driving this issue. It is whether or not she has met the citizenship requirement to be a candidate in the first place.

I find it strange that this issue should be cropping up now. One would think and expect that any candidate running for office would be properly vetted to make sure they quality. Is this a spurious issue, or did someone drop the ball here?

I think CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas vetted her.

She would not have been 18 until Oct. 4, 2000..

This and her marriages, divorces, and brother question along with the spending camphagn funds for personal travel were big issues in Minneapolis when she ran at state level and then for congress..

I did lots of digging on this and found that much was muddled because some marriage/divorce was done in traditional Somali ways. Some then redone by United States law.. The brother rumor was false and not credible at all, but probable will never go away..

Both husbands also had the same first name..

So lots of understandable confusion.. but it seems she is good to go..

She did, as i posted have to repay $3500 for travel that she used from campaign fund.

Omar should be jailed for fraud or at least permanently deported. She is already illegal as a bigamist. She does not believe Christians should live unless they are willing to change to Muslim. It is reprehensible that she was allowed to pledge the oath to the USA on a Talmud which is based on the destruction of Christianity and also says it is all right to lie if that is needed to accomplish their goals. The United States of America constitution was formed by followers of God the father and His son Jesus Christ; and who gave up their homes to come to America so they could worship God without persecution.

If Omar never produces proof of citizenship and there's no public record, then NO, she's not a Citizen.
If she is, then when and where did it take place?
According to the Constitution of the United States, anyone running for and holding political office, must be a confirmed citizen of more then 7 years, before applying as a candidate for office.
So, if there's no public record proving that she was a citizen before she filed for candidacy, she needs to be Impeached.
And that goes for anyone in office illegally.
