It seems that Bernie is the new Messiah of the Democratic Party, but I doubt it very much. His history is very dark. Sanders was an agent of the Soviet C*******ts; and without defending Mr. Trump, I do not think he had any connection with them. If he now does business in Russia he does it with his money. I do not know that he has received money for lecturing there or that he is practicing the sale of influences. I think any other candidate will be chosen to represent the face of the Democratic Party. See how they eliminated Bernie by favoring Hillary in 2016 (although she and her husband have their history with Russia), because in a confrontation with any Republican candidate would come out Sanders performance contrary to the USA during the Cold War.
As for what you say about Great Britain, think a little about the problems that the Socialists have created there with forced immigration, which has resulted in the Brexit. Find out a little more before writing. As for other socialist benefits: "Everything that glitters is not gold."

Hardly, Brexit has taken a toll on consumer confidence and the national economy. But it was doing that before Brexit. Their economy has been sluggish ever since WWI ended. After WWII ended Socialism really began to take hold with the introduction of Nationalized medicine and other large and strategic industries. Political ideologies have more to do with the economic success of a country than nearly any other factor. Apparently, you have never studied Economics and are therefore unfamiliar with Political Economics in particular.
