Here is an interesting article about political scandal. The author looks at it through the lens of Watergate to extrapolate what we see happening today. It basically boils down to two things:

1)"Is the modern administrative state--the progressive innovation that took shape in the New Deal and was greatly expanded in the Great Society--the just and proper way to govern? Or is it just and proper to govern through political structures established by the Constitution?"

2) "Does the regulation of Americans' economic and social lives by a centralized bureaucracy establish the moral justification for government? Or does the underlying principle of American constitutionalism--the principle that the power of government must be limited and directed to the protection of its citizens' natural rights--remain valid?"

If you can't answer this you should go back and reread the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution (particularly the Federalist Papers).

Joe Biden says we are in the fight of our lives for the heart and soul of our country. He is absolutely correct in his statement. He just doesn't understand the answer. We are in the fight to answer the above questions.

If this unconscionable attempt to o*******w a fair and constitutional p**********l e******n, destroy a duly elected POTUS, his family, associates and his administration succeeds, it will disenfranchise 63 million v**ers and will be the greatest act of v**er suppression in American history.
