"Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report is 448 pages long, full of shocking conduct and detail that has prompted non-stop discussion since it was released last week. But one thing seems indisputable from our perspective as former federal prosecutors looking at the evidence laid out by the report: If Donald Trump were not now president he would have been indicted on multiple counts of obstruction of justice. And that case would be as strong, if not stronger, than many we saw working in New York and Chicago, respectively.[…]

With so much to consider, it’s helpful to focus on four areas in particular where there are multiple reliable witnesses whose testimony corroborates one another, where some of the acts simply can’t be disputed because they occurred in plain sight, and where the evidence of corrupt intent and connection to pending proceedings are clear: (1) Trump’s efforts to fire Mueller, (2) Trump’s order to falsify evidence about that effort, (3) Trump’s efforts to limit the scope of Mueller’s investigation to exclude his conduct, and (4) Trump’s efforts to try and prevent witnesses from cooperating with investigators probing him and his campaign. While this may bear some passing similarity to mob-related and other obstruction of justice cases we worked on and saw as federal prosecutors, the conduct is more shocking and serious given that Trump is the president of the United States."

My sincere hope is that whoever the new president is in 2021 they will not pardon Trump and he faces trial. There is of course the chance that he resigns as a lame duck after the e******n and Pence issues he and his crime family a pardon. This would be a travesty but would drive a stake through the heart of the Republican Party for a couple decades. Besides the States Attorneys General can prosecute him for crimes in those jurisdiction and they are sharpening their knives right now.

All the above is based on assumptions. If Mueller could have nailed Trump he would have done it! It is not at all clear, regardless of the writer's opinion, that Trump would have been indicted for anything except the hatred Progressives feel towards Trump because he won the Presidency and is tearing down Obama's horrible policies one by one. That he is successful in destroying Obama's legacy of fundamental destructive change, is driving Progs crazy...well let's say crazier! He's just getting his feet wet and learning the ropes; consider what he's already accomplished. His learning curve is high and we will really take off in 2020 when Progs lose the House and Trump starts his second term. MAGA.

C'mon Perm smile. We want to listen to your face break!

The hugggggge betrayal was the entire criminal Obama administration. You two should watch the opening segment of Tucker show tonight. DVR the second show. Watch how the Obama admin subverted the first amendment. He was the worst in our history. Trump is an amateur with his t***hful "f**e news" mantra compared to your black mamba. (A black mamba is a venomous snake.) Until you come to understand how consciously evil Obama was (is) you will be of no use to America's future.

Engage brain before putting mouth (or keyboard in gear). Seriously, if Trump had not been elected he would never have been in any position to even care about firing Comey or Mueller because there would never have been a phony collusion investigation. You can't obstruct what isn't so. Nevertheless, what Trump may have said is not proof of obstruction. and since this whole sordid travesty of a witch hunt was played out in public for the past two years, what he did do as the chief executive is established in Article II of the Constitution.

Why can't you Democrats accept that Hillary lost, T***p w*n, and this is all sour grapes on your part.

Because he wants to be friends with Pootie-Poot while admonishing our allies and pulling out of international treaties that result in a benefit to Russia. I have more reasons but figure these out first.

It's been long overdue, admonishing our allies (and our enemies) that is. Eight years of Obama kowtowing was enough.

Here Are All the Times Trump Tried to Get Rid of Robert Mueller
According to the just-released report, Trump really wanted Mueller "knock[ed] out."

n a press conference Thursday morning, Attorney General William Barr insisted that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation didn't yield evidence to suggest Trump might be guilty of illegally attempting to interfere in the FBI investigation of his campaign’s interactions with Russia. But the Special Counsel's own report shows that the President made multiple attempts to fire Mueller.

William Barr Is a Complete Tool. It's Mueller Time
According to the just-released report, Trump phoned up then-White House counsel Don McGahn in 2017 and asked him to get rid of Mueller:

On June 17, 2017 the president called McGahn at home and directed him to call the acting attorney general and say that the special counsel had conflicts of interest and must be removed… McGahn was perturbed by the call and did not intend to act on the request. He and other advisors believed the asserted conflicts were “silly” and “not real” and they had previously communicated that view to the President.

Trump didn't give up, and called McGahn a second time, asking less nicely.

When the President called McGahn a second time to follow up on the order to call the Department of Justice, McGahn recalled that the President was more direct, saying something like, “Call Rod, tell Rod that Mueller has conflicts and can’t be the Special Counsel.” McGahn recalled the President telling him “Mueller has to go” and “Call me back when you do it”… McGahn recalled that he had already said no to the President’s request and he was worn down, so he just wanted to get off the phone.
According to the report, McGahn was prepared to resign rather than fire Mueller and instigate what he feared might have been a Trump administration version of Nixon's Saturday Night Massacre. He apparently let then-White House Chief of Staff Reince Preibus and Chief Strategist Steve Bannon know that he was going to quit because the President kept asking him to do “crazy s**t,” but the two talked the White House Counsel into staying on.

what the heck does Lady Hillary have to do with trump being a crime boss?

why does the trump supporters so fixate on her after all this time??

trumps evil deed are so well know and so obvious, but can not meet the requirement of our courts.

Add the that the justice dept opinion that a sitting president can not be indicted and you see why Mueller left that process for the future, when trump is no longer in office..

I do not agree with that, I think the indictment issue should be settled in court once and for all..
