He has no more right to keep his taxes secret from Congress than any other citizen. He’s breaking the law—as if he ever cared squat about the law.
There's this federal government agency. It's called the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). It is part of the Department of Treasury.

The IRS is responsible for collecting taxes and administering the Internal Revenue Code. The IRC is the main body of federal statutory tax law of the United States. The duties of the IRS include providing tax assistance to taxpayers and pursuing and resolving instances of erroneous or fraudulent tax filings.

Whenever the IRS comes across a tax filing by an individual (a single human being) or one by a corporation (a bunch of human beings working for a common cause) that is suspect or in anyway erroneous, the IRS will conduct an investigation.

This investigation is called an audit. An IRS audit is a review/examination of an organization's or individual's accounts and financial information to ensure information is reported correctly according to the tax laws and to verify the reported amount of tax is correct.

If an investigation (audit) of a tax filing reveals problems, such as attempts to c***t or manipulate the IRC to one's benefit, the IRS will act aggressively to correct the situation.

In the cases where an individual or corporation is making a lot of money, they usually hire accountants to handle their taxes. The possibilities for discrepancies in tax filings run from a simple accounting error, like a misplaced decimal point, or an incomplete filing, or missing documentation to intentional manipulation of the IRC.

In the first instance, the individual or corporation usually cooperates with the IRS in resolving the matter. In the second instance, if the audit reveals intentional c***ting, fraud, or manipulation of the IRC, the offender will likely be charged with a federal crime and end up in court. If court proceedings find the offender guilty, he or she usually ends up doing hard time (prison sentence)

The IRS is not required to release for public consumption any information regarding any tax filing, suspect or otherwise, the same goes for the results of an audit of an individual or corporate filing. If an audit turns up malfeasance or c***ting, the IRS will submit the details to a federal court, a prosecutor, grand jury, and the like. Only then will news of the situation hit the pages and the networks. And only then will we get to see all the sordid details.

Donald Trump began his business career 57 years ago. In those 5 and 1/2 decades, he has established 37 corporate and business entities, done business all over the world. Like millions of wealthy individuals, corporations, corporate execs and officers, he has faced bankruptcies (although he has never filed personal bankruptcy, some of his corporations have), he has faced lawsuits, and business failures. And audits by the IRS.

Donald Trump's tax counselors have made known that he has been under audit continuously since 2002.

Seems to me that after 57 years in business, after continuous audits by the IRS, and after a 2+ year investigation into his affairs by a special counsel, had any of these turned up any evidence of intentional c***ting or manipulation of the IRC, we would surely know about it.

If President Trump is subject to revealing his tax situation to congress or anyone else, then so to are all those elected to congress and any other federal bureaucrat.

Adam Schiff, Kamala Harris, Jerry Nadler, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, Diane Feinstein, Elijah Cummings, and 90% of the rest aren't exactly what you call untainted or pristine in their accumulation of wealth. Many of them have used their political power and influence to "make deals" for their own benefit.

So stop pretending you are some kind of prosecutor, jury and judge who has, without concrete evidence and due process, found Donald Trump guilty of anything. The only thing he is guilty of is defeating Hillary Clinton in a p**********l e******n.

The IRS is required to submit ANYBODY’s tax returns to Congress if Congress requests them. That’s the law.

OK. Let's see them all. Starting with the h**eful scumsuckers chairing the 4 committees demanding Trump release his.

Do you really think that real American citizens are going to simply stand by and watch as the ideologically driven politics of just four miscreants from NY, CA, and MD determine the fate of our nation?

You are in for a rude awakening.

No, not that either... My tall redhead keeps me off the streets, I don't need to 'go looking' where she is, Buttercup.

None of their returns are in questions.

Yup. At least they have an ideology. Trump has no ideology or values apart from self aggrandizement and enrichment. Besides, Trump has been promising to release his taxes to the public for 2 years. Until the Dems took the House; now he’s fighting tooth and nail to keep them secret.
Verrrry suspicious.
