Personally, I prefer Corelle dishware as opposed to China. Corelle can be as stylish and is far more durable.

Funny you should mention that. For Christmas, I received a great new Chinese cookbook: '101 Ways to Wok Your Dog.'

Since receiving it, our two canines, 'LadyBug' & 'Peanut' seem hesitant to hang with me.

I am curious as to your attitude to the post. China is run by a totalitarian regime and are amongst the most repressive in the world. Countless citizens are rotting and tortured in prison for the slightest infraction against those in power. Corruption is rampant at all levels of government. There is no free political speech or political opposition allowed. Now they are expanding their influence militarily and economically in the pacific rim sub Saharan Africa and South America with no regard to human rights and little regard for the environment. How would we and the rest of the world not be better off if they were kept from development until they adopted a form of government that respected the law and human rights?

Sort of like Cuba, Venezuela, and California, New York and Illinois and many college campuses today. Right Kev?
