I can't help wonder if there were any Muslim's working on the renovation. Seems it would be a golden opportunity for an 'accident'. I also believe that IF it were discovered to be arson the authorities would cover it up for fear of igniting a Muslim purge.

I agree with you. The French citizens (yellow jackets) have already been protesting for months. Just recently the police said they were going to join them. This action being found to be Muslim work would ignite the country, IMO

Very true perm, and how many Christians would give empathy or to even say something nice to Muslims who almost lost their historical and Holy temple for prayer and was also a larger part of their history as it goes back 1000 years further back than Notre Dame. We see there was nothing in the media about it but ...
