Does an piece on Fox... Five days a week..

Rather civil and sometimes humerous fellow..

Strong opinions... Good manners...

It was a joke about One-thumb Tucker. Feeling a bit frisky myself. As to the other, Tucker Carlson, a total piece of crap. Read more about him and his past.

In the Dictionary under duplicity or disingenuous or h**e. Heck, you may need all three.

I just wiki'd him...

Like him even more now...

I can't find a single issue we don't have common ground on...

Would love to have a beer with the guy... Or a coffee since he no longer drinks...

Did you do what I asked? Look into both his past and his controversies on Fox News.

Does any other group wear special clothing in Congress?

Christians wear their crosses and Jews their skull caps.

According to Rabbi Yosef Karo Jewish men should cover their heads, and should not walk more than four cubits bareheaded. Covering one's head, such as by wearing a kippah, is described as "honoring God".

Would Congress expect a Jewish man not to "honor" god?

Ah.. But here is the rub...

Wearing the hijab has nothing to do with honoring God...
It is not a symbol of Islam... It is merely a method of fullfilling the obligation Muslim women have to be modest and keep covered while in public....
If she claims that it is a symbol of Islamic faith and it is necessary for her to fullfill (her) understanding of Islamic law, then she should step down as that same interpretation would prevent a woman from holding office...

Do they wear them in session? Crosses are usually just jewelry. Should we regulate jewelry too?

Very interesting. Something like Jewish Ceremonial Law, a way of customs of the nation. Is that how you see it?

Would garish displays of jewelry, like a large gold cross covering the chest outside of clothing, make a difference?

If her interpretation of the Koran and Islamic law require her to be covered at all time, Then that same interpretation would preclude her from holding office.... They are found in the same verses of the Koran...

Personally I have no problem with Muslims holding public office... But the rule concerning headwear was established before she chose to run for office... It is she who should change..

Like the Sihks who become TCMP officers in Canada and then refuse to wear the ceremonial uniforms...

This is an example of PC infringing upon society...

Great information, heightens the arguments. If one were honest, as it seems those Sikhs were not, they should have made their intentions clear. Anyway, good stuff.
