Your wife is no doubt confused over the whole "Toxic masculinity" issue

Don't have one of those critters anymore. I struck out in that area, three-time loser.

I doubt it, I married one, twice. I did live and learn, no mas. Can't afford to lose again, getting too old. The most risque thing I do now is flirt. When they flirt back I get a panic attack.

Hi, Kyle. My name is Bob. I enjoy deer hunting. I like the meat and the peace and quiet. I read a lot of science fiction and history (mainly the old west). My wife has had some health issues of late, so I spend a lot of time taking care of her. I also love to watch hockey, a little too old to play any more.

Hello Bob...

Sorry to hear about your wife... But gladdened to hear of your commitment to her... God bless you both... Amen...

I haven't been hunting in over a decade... But I agree, deer meat is delicious (especially when they've been poaching from folks' gardens )

Sci-fi is one of my favorite genres... Just like to leave the world behind...
History is very enjoyable, though I prefer the British Empire myself...

And anyone who loves hockey is Good people in my books

A pleasure to meet you...

Your friend, Kyle

Hi Kyle, I’m LindaJoy~~

An avid reader before it became a necessity of my occupation I’m now an avid Music lover.. I also love anything outdoors and cooking...

Like Peewee I am fascinated by ancient Archaeology or anything to do with it... From cities lost to the elements, or now below ground to the buriel of Pharaohs in the Tombs of the Kings in a large necropolis lying about two kilometres north of Paphos harbour in Cyprus. The digs and finds of artifacts from those time periods amaze me, right along with their money exchanges etc..The hieroglyphics always a pleasure to study.

Anyway a day late for you and all I offer you some Beautifully song music by the celtics for this St. Paddy’s day..

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRAb2unuFFd3HtV6BKPBNz0-Bsn8AYD_w

May your troubles be less. And your blessings be more. And nothing but happiness come through your door. ~~

Hi...

My name is Kyle...

I would like to get to know some of the OPP a little better...

I love books and usually have a few on the go...

I am currently reading a Sci-fi Book by Peter Hamilton "The Reality Dysfunction"...

It is my third time through the series and I am enjoying it every bit as much as the first time...

I would recommend it (and any of Hamilton's books) to anyone who enjoys sci-fi and doesn't take it too seriously... A good, relaxed read...

What are you guys reading?

And how would you recommend it/them to others?

Orson Scott Card... Ender's Game There's something about it, look it up and it's ranked as the greatest sci fi book written, it apparently tops many people's best ever list so it's not just me.

Behind that the author Wilbur Smith ... I'd be hard pressed to come up with another author I like better. He mixes super well researched historical facts with a superb characterization and writing style.

River God and The Seventh Scroll are two great books with an Egyptian basis

He has a series on the founding families of the Kimberly mine, and another on the founding of the gold mine. Stories about fortunes made and fortunes lost.

Love Ender's Game... Not sure if I would call it the best ever written, but a superb book nonetheless... And an excellent series...

I just finished "Lovelock" by him a few months ago... Creepy and eerily possible...Definately recommend it...

This Wilbur Smith I am unfamiliar with.... By tge Kimberly mine, are you referencing the small town in the East Kootenays in BC?

Africa'a diamond mine...

As I read the ender's game series I was less and less enamored of them.
