Maybe, but no personal state tax, Churches everywhere, BBQ, plenty of Hooters, C&W music halls everywhere, no worries about owning a gun, plenty of fishing spots, very short winters south of Austin, just don't move to Houston, Dallas or Austin and you'll be fine.
FL has too many sinkholes and golf courses, and I hear the Villages is turning into a Peyton Place, central FL too many lightning strikes, and south FL is a scary environmental hazard zone, did I mention hurricanes? If you need to get out fast, sorry two highways and lines for days.

You sound like him too. He's 6'2" and 68, the last fight we had was when I was 15, he lost, but he has never laid a hand on me again. He sure enjoyed dishing it out for 15 years, seems he doesn't like being on the receiving end but he still teases me, but when I tease back he pouts. Love my brother but you're much easier to get along with. The younger brother is 6'6" we've never even had an argument or even a spat. We're both conservative and the elder is a liberal. That might explain a lot.
