Gossips spread like wildfire. Catholics don't gossip about other religion. NONE! We mind our own business, serve the Lord by helping many people locally and worldwide, who are the least of us. Because we trust and love the Lord both in faith and works

Matthew 7:3

…2For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while there is still a beam in your own eye?…

That was not official at the Vatican Karpenter. The yuca bread is the product that God provides them in their location. There is no defined or required product to use, but the Vatican has not ruled a decision on those. Yuca is very common staple in those countries. God provides them abundantly for food.

People heard about it gossip about it, without assurance whether there was a universal approval from the Vatican who makes the final decision. Let us not defend on rumors, but focus our own mind, heart, and soul to God. Let God speak to our minds and hearts.

This is a Season of Lent. A time to walk thru the footsteps of Christ.
Here are some of his Scriptures to follow by faith and work.
Instead of rumors, let us think about Christ.

Gospel Mt 25:31-46
Jesus said to his disciples:
"When the Son of Man comes in his glory,
and all the angels with him,
he will sit upon his glorious throne,
and all the nations will be assembled before him.
And he will separate them one from another,
as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Then the king will say to those on his right,
'Come, you who are blessed by my Father.
Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink,
a stranger and you welcomed me,
naked and you clothed me,
ill and you cared for me,
in prison and you visited me.'
Then the righteous will answer him and say,

'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you,
or thirsty and give you drink?
When did we see you a stranger and welcome you,
or naked and clothe you?
When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?'

And the king will say to them in reply,
'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did
for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.'
Then he will say to those on his left,
'Depart from me, you accursed,

into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels.
For I was hungry and you gave me no food,
I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
a stranger and you gave me no welcome,
naked and you gave me no clothing,
ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.'

Then they will answer and say,
'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty
or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison,
and not minister to your needs?'

He will answer them, 'Amen, I say to you,
what you did not do for one of these least ones,
you did not do for me.'

And these will go off to eternal punishment,
but the righteous to eternal life."

So many gossips are going around.
I am a Catholic Lay person and we discuss issues on frequent meetings about our faith both coming from the Vatican and our local events. WE don't hear rumors that you have heard Karpenter. Amazing.

We don't worry what other faith wants to believe because there is God who does that higher decisions. We focus to serve and love God.

Irrelevant Scriptures For Catholics this is a Season of Lent. the 40 day Passover, and one of our sacrifices for that is serving others who are the least of us.

Karpenter, I know you love God and is trying your best to please Him. You do it differently from Catholics, but I am not bothered with that. I pray we all go to heaven one day. Only God decides our hope and faith is always with Him.
