In an absolute bombshell report from Jane Mayer at the New Yorker, there are new details about how Sean Hannity, former (now deceased) Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, and Fox owner Rupert Murdoch have been regularly putting their finger on the scale for Donald Trump, as Fox t***sitioned to being the closest thing to state television this country has ever seen.
Beginning in at least 2015, Fox News executives, including then CEO Ailes, began helping Donald Trump. Before the first Republican primary debate in 2015, they gave Trump the debate questions, including a heads-up that then-Fox News host Megyn Kelly would be asking him about his derogatory comments about women. Trump had an answer in the can and used it to “work the refs”—gaining even more favorable treatment from the network afterward to make up for the question from Kelly.

Do I believe it, no, is it unbelievable? Not at all, why give Trump T.V. access to their shindigs? To give them more ammunition to criticize everything they do? Now if they banned them from any ACTUAL news or did such a thing as president, then I would be just as upset as you would be, but again, I don't believe the accusation so... Now perhaps if I saw a fact based article making such a claim, then I might believe the claim.

Edit: If they are that concerned with it, perhaps they need to show more commitment to "fair and balanced" reporting, stop demonizing every Democrat that makes their existence known and all the throwing Trump up onto that pedestal. I have seen much MSM reporting on many Republican politicians and I haven't seen the sources I typically watch/read demonize Trump, point out things that he says or does which reflect badly on him, yes, they do that, should they refuse to report on those things? I also have not seen them go out of their way to praise Democratic politicians, do they report things that Democrats do that might reflect well on them, yes, they do, what? They shouldn't do that?

Am I saying that there aren't left wing media sources that might stoop to Fox's level in support of Democrats? Am I saying that there aren't any liberal media sources out there demonizing Trump and other Republican figures? Not at all, just I don't put any more faith in what they have to say than I do in what Fox has to say.
