You are very deceptive Rose42. You presented a link created by another man-made Sola Scriptura, a Protestant Evangelical Pastor named Brian Edwards. The gospel he promotes supports yours which are both wrong, but denies the facts of history for his own purpose.

Here is Brain Edward's Ministry and life. These along with your f**e man-made Sola Scriptura has been the sources of lucrative money making machines of the Luther followers.

Every one of the Luther pastors has only one common objective. Spreading a false Gospel, to the people, and using a seed money to luring/deceiving millions of people, to making hundreds of millions of dollars or even billions of dollars for a brief period of time. Brian Edwards has similar objective.

Their merchandise? The man-made Scriptures of Sola Scriptura.

These pastors lures people with the "seed money" but goes directly to their bank accounts, thus they get so rich so fast. The victims, are the poorest of the poor, hoping and praying God will multiply the seed money they gave.

They create their own gospel, thus tens of thousands of interpretations of their Sola Scriptura.

Brian Edwards is not one of those pastors. You are caught in another lie. Actually several lies but I'll leave it at that.

You know what the bible says about lying.

If you look on Catholic sites they will say it was finalized at the council of Trent which was when they added the Apocrypha - AFTER the reformation. But realize the Catholic church only has authority over Catholics.

The Apocrypha was not included before the Council of Trent because it was not divinely inspired.

You have to go back in history and see the Catholic church really started in the 300s. Its history before then is built on forged documents.

This link has information and has numerous resources to back that up -

Now before the usual suspects say I'm using h**e speech against the Catholic church, I am not. This is history. I will also repeat something I've said numerous times - only God knows someone's heart. Not a pastor, a priest or anyone else. Only he determines if we will join him in eternity.

You claimed about history? You don't have history except the 501 years of Luther's revolution against the Catholic church of Christ that was created 1,987 years ago through Saint Peter. Matthew 16:18-20.

Your man-made Sola Scriptura with selectively copied Scriptures in 1517, from the Catholic Church

If you're saying that St. Peter founded the Catholic Church are you saying that he was the 1st Pope? If so let me remind you that St. Peter was a married man. The Pope is simply a human being just like the rest of us with no authority to change anything.

Your claim is false but was according to the man-made gospel of the followers of Luther. Protestants want to revise the 2000 years history of Christ. That is what they have been doing since the 16th century.
-------------
History of Saint Peter the Apostle Christ assigned to carry and preach His Gospel to the world.

Matthew 16:18-20 New King James Version (NKJV)
18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not [a]prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and wh**ever you bind on earth [b]will be bound in heaven, and wh**ever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
20 Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ.

Here are the facts.
St. Peter the Apostle, original name Simeon or Simon, (died 64 CE, Rome [Italy]), disciple of Jesus Christ, recognized in the early Christian church as the leader of the 12 disciples and by the Roman Catholic Church as the first of its unbroken succession of popes. Peter, a Jewish fisherman, was called to be a disciple of Jesus at the beginning of Jesus’ ministry. He received from Jesus the name Cephas (from Aramaic Kepa [“Rock”]; hence Peter, from Petros, a Greek t***slation of Kepa).

Conventional wisdom has it that St Peter was crucified, upside down, in Rome in the first century AD. His remains were interred in a tomb on the Vatican Hill, where the Emperor Constantine later built a church, which in the 16th century was replaced by the current imposing basilica.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/09/11/bones-attributed-st-peter-found-chance-1000-year-old-church
Bones attributed to St Peter have been found by chance in a church in Rome during routine restoration work, 2,000 years after the apostle’s death.

The relics of the saint, who is regarded as the first Pope, were found in clay pots in the 1,000-year-old Church of Santa Maria in Cappella in the district of Trastevere, a medieval warren of cobbled lanes on the banks of the Tiber River.

The bones were discovered when a worker lifted up a large marble slab near the medieval altar of the church, which has been closed to the public for 35 years because of structural problems.

He came across two Roman-era pots with inscriptions on their lids indicating that inside were not only bone fragments from St Peter but also three early popes – Cornelius, Callixtus and Felix – as well as four early Christian martyrs

Go and follow the man-made Sola Scriptura flash. No one is stopping you. The 501 year-old Sola Scriptura, created and selectively copied Scriptures by Luther from the Catholic Church.
Luther created the Sola Scriptura, thus man-made during the 16th century.
Christ created the His Catholic Church 1,987 years ago.

Jesus Christ created His Gospel ordered Peter the Apostle to carry and preach His Gospel to the world.
Matthew 16:18-20.

Here are the classic reasons why the Protestant dogma of Sola Scriptura - "Scripture Alone" - is absolutely wrong, is unscriptural, man-made and prevents Protestants from ever having a firm doctrinal foundation.

The book shows that: Christ gave us Tradition and the teaching authority of His Church; the first Christians did not have a complete Bible and Scripture itself states that it is insufficient of itself calling the Church and not the Bible "the pillar and ground of the t***h." 72 pgs, PB

You're right. No one is stopping me from the t***h. Just where did you come up with this sola scripture anyway.
I follow the BIBLE I DON'T add to it or take away from it. I look at the culture when it was written (man's sinful nature hasn't changed) and I look at the languages used and look up meanings. But most of all I pray and when I feel lost I depend on the HOLY SPIRIT to take my prayers to the FATHER. Rom 8:26-27.

Rose42,

All you and TexaCan only do is give opinions with no facts to back up your opinions.

Whereas I give you facts.

Every one has opinions, and every has a, you fill in the blank, an seven letter word, beginning with A and ending with e.

So unless you can corroborate your opinions with verifiable facts, then your opinions are a mute point.

This is your problem all the time with your comments and unfactual replies and is just pure unalderated compost that you spew forth from your Protestant lying and blasphemous mind and mouth.

Rose42, and TexaCan,
If you only knew your Christian History, Church History, and weren’t so boneheaded in your lack of research and pure ignorance as to the actual facts.

Maybe if you weren’t so dishonest in your heart, mind and very soul, there could be some discussion, but your mindset is of the OPP FRS forum and the h**e-speech laced one-way dialogue that you maintain as the leading member of the five Horsemen and five horse women of the protestant Apocalypse mob.

You’re very in-Christian Ugliness and lack of any historical knowledge of the ancient history Church, This Is just a continual lying story which I will always prove you wrong, you’ll never change you're mean spirited ways and ugly Evil personality and Reprehensible demor, that is so deep inside of your heart mind and soul.

Amen, amen, Let it be so, I believe, amen, amen.

No Doc. I gave you fact. In 1546 the Catholic church declared the Apocrypha as inspired where scholars before then said they were not. Why? To support some of their doctrine which Luther said was false.

The Apocrypha is also never cited in the New Testament as scripture. It does not mean they have no value.

Rejection by many in the Catholic Church

6. The Catholic Church has not always accepted the Apocrypha. The Apocrypha was not officially accepted by the Catholic Church at a universal council until 1546 at the Council of Trent. This is over a millennium and a half after the books were written, and was a counter reaction to the Protestant Reformation.4

7. Many church Fathers rejected the Apocrypha as Scripture, and many just used them for devotional purposes. For example, Jerome, the great Biblical scholar and t***slator of the Latin Vulgate, rejected the Apocrypha as Scripture though, supposedly under pressure, he did make a hurried t***slation of it. In fact, most of the church fathers in the first four centuries of the Church rejected the Apocrypha as Scripture. Along with Jerome, names include Origen, Cyril of Jerusalem, and Athanasius.

8. The Apocryphal books were placed in Bibles before the Council of Trent and after but were placed in a separate section because they were not of equal authority. The Apocrypha rightfully has some devotional purposes, but it is not inspired.

A more complete list of why the Apocryphal books are not in the bible -
