Happy Valentine's day to you too
The gas went down, like everone else's for a while, now it's back up to about 2.29, and cook about 2.40. But we'll see where it goes when the new gas tax passes the legislature, as it's sure to do. Along with $500 yearly to renew plates. And a statewide $15 per hour minimum wage

Get out, come here to Colorado!!! My gosh~~ you are right, they will pass the Taxes laws, itβs what drove corporate America out of Chicago after all. Then they hit private sector market by increasing taxes on homes that had not appreciated in value given the financial demise from 2008 on..
If you follow the bond market Illinois is almost at junk-bond status and need more tax money to try to offset the bankruptcy they are facing..
Such a shame because Chicago has so much to offer if they could only get rid of the gangs, taxes and the Springfield elite!

Looks like a lot of residents will be v****g with their feet, gassing up and leaving Illinois. Just like New York and California.

Democrats should not be allowed to leave Illinois; bailing out of the misery they created.

Kemmer's mom still ties both of his shoes together. She gets such a kick out of watching him do the Bunny Hop.
Now that would be funny to watch. Especially when he falls down.

Yep!
When Kevy's Mom wants a real belly laugh;
She ties Kevy's shoe laces together, binds his elbows together, straps a mail bag on his waste, and sends him out to get the mail doing the kangaroo hop.

Strangly down here in the boondocks of Mississippi my little populated county is barly 15,000 souls I think 12,000 are conservatives but are lisyed as Democrats or independents. In the 2016 e******n President Trump got a little over 12,000 v**es and Hillary less rhan 3 000.
I look for the same kind of results in 2020. These people may be backwoods people but they know which side their bread is buttered on.
Then the board of supervisors elecfed they were all Republicans. They lowered propert taxes by half. They operate on a small budget and get a yearly salary of $365.00 a year plus expenses when they are required to go out of the county on buisness.
The federal government should operate the same way.

A dollar a day is wayyyyy too much for criminal elites... It should all be voluntary, you know like it was way back then...

If I am not mistaken way back then $1.00 per day was big money.
When my forefathers came here in the 1760s it was the British Colonies and they were working off high taxes. They were allowed 50 cents per day off theie fine. A person making $1.00 per day was considered "big money" jobs.
I recall working for $1.00 per day wheen I was a pre-teen age boy. My how things have changed.
