You do know that being the largest oil and natural gas producing country in the world doesn't make us self-sufficient, don't you? In 2017 the US produced 14.3 million b/d of oil products and consumed 20 million b/d of oil products with the gap being made up by imports from Canada, OPEC, and other places.

Oh, I forgot. Please continue your Trump worship. I always hate raining you your parade...

In 2017, Trump had just taken the reins. Post the numbers for this year when they are available.

The pipelines from Canada? You do know what being independent means don't you? If not, it means to not need to depend on anyone else. Canada is an anyone else...

You chose the 2017 numbers. Trump's effect won't be felt until now. What couldn't be/hasn't been done in 40 years can't be done in 11 months, even by Trump. It has been done in two years though.

That is the difference in a crooked community organizer and a proven successful business man that knows how to run a successful business.

🇺🇸 God bless America and a proven buisness man.

So why are you still here, partaking of the Greatness? Go somewhere else where you'll be happier about the political climate, like Venezuela for instance, and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Just like Trump trumpets our economic gains as his personal accomplishment, never mind he's riding the tail of Obama's recovery from the Bush disaster, now, after 40 something years of petroleum growth, voila! it's all thanks to Trump.
It seems Trump's great tax cut is now seeing people all over the country finding their tax refunds more than disappointing. And the middle class's tax cuts will expire, but big business and the wealthy's tax cuts go on forever.

Jealous some? It would seem that way. You're just mad because you 'backed' the wrong horse (face).

After 2 years of trumpian scandals and much more to come, I'm hardly "jealous".

Oh, so you're in denial as well. What a shame. Well, there's one silver lining... You only need to endure another 6 years, then President Haley will really turn the screws, but don't tell anyone, it's still kind of a secret.

Trump won’t even be on the ballot in 2020, and the GOP is dead for a decade. We’ve learned our lessons.
