In some cases you are right. No problem here but there are areas where Mexicans do most of the Roofing. From what I understand it is 75% Mexicans doing the roofing in the United States. I am one Darn fine Roofer and don't want to work cheap. It is hard work.
Yes it is. I worked summers as a lather while attending College. All the plasterers, hod carriers and carpenters are 90% Mexican Nationals now. Very few Anglo's, if any, are in the trades now.

My son recently bought a rather large carport and it was erected in about 6 hours. Of course, the three men who did it spoke only Spanish, with one of them knowing English. The wind was about 30 mph the whole time and they worked harder than any people I have ever seen. I know that they were in a hurry because they had to erect another huge one by the end of the next day so they could get back home for the weekend. They live somewhere near Lubbock and were the best workers I have seen like them anywhere.
