I don't know where to put this one but picked this forum since it is humorous along with being a bit political.
Subject: Harley rider
A Harley rider is riding by the zoo in Washington,
DC when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the collar of
her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents.
The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage
and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.
Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back
letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to
her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.
A reporter has watched the whole event.
The reporter addressing the Harley rider says,
'Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing
I've seen a man do in my whole life.'
The Harley rider replies, 'Why, it was nothing,
really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this
little kid in danger and acted as I felt right.'
The reporter says, 'Well, I'll make sure this won't
go unnoticed. I'm a journalist, you know, and tomorrow's paper
will have this story on the front page...
So, what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do you have?'
The biker replies, I'm a U.S. Marine and a Republican.
The journalist leaves.
The following morning the biker buys the paper to
see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on the front page:
U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH
...and THAT pretty much sums up the media's approach to the news these days.

I have seen this joke before and it is pretty silly. Republicans are getting a bad rap these days.Too many in the party went to the extreme right. The ones who were sensible and moderate got called RINOs. Democrats hope the Tea party keeps disintegrating the Republican party.Sad shame. There used to be outstanding Republicans we all admired.

Gee fom spoken like a true l*****t, progressive, c*******t, democrat. The only good republicans are the "good old boys" that give in to the democrats all of the time. That's what the tea party wants to get rid of is the good old boys club and make the republican party a real party again instead of the democrat lite party.

I understand there were a few Democrats, years ago, that were greatly admired. The few outstanding Republicans all retired and left us with a gaggle of Rino's. Thank goodness for the Tea Parties that are striving to return the Country to its former greatness.

The United States is the greatest country in the world and ever shall be. If the Tea Party wants to help how about supporting higher wages and ending Chinese imports. Made in America is what I want to see on all the goods we buy. How about supporting unions and education? Stop subsizing oil companys and get it off the trading floor. Stop exporting our raw materials and export finished products only. Can you go along with that?

We spend enough on education. Unfortunately most of the money goes to administration rather than the classrooms.

I can go along with that but what about the rest of what I had to say? Also Americans deserve a level playing field when it comes to v**eing and representation. Changing congressional district boundries to nullify the v**es of people who not going to v**e with the ones in power is c***ting. Any legislature pulling this crap should be rounded up and put on a chain gang.

Tom, for your information, the Democrats do double, if not triple, the amount of gerrymandering than do the Republicans.
