Not if he sticks to his no deal without a wall. The Democrats believe they have the winning hand. The public will not tolerate a long term shutdown. He will still get the blame with the MSM in the Democrats corner. If he is not going to stand by it he should not make the promise.

So why couldn't he have done this at the beginning--more than a few people suggested it--and how is 250 miles of fencing going to serve anyone?

You are wrong....Maybe its a temporary caving in,but if Democrats dont start thinking rationally next Shutdown will be on Democrats!!!......
