Gone insane at the detriment of those living, viable babies! If late term issues arise why not C section to save both?? The baby is removed and the mother can heal...

Now Lj is playing Doctor?

Just a few examples.

In some areas it is illegal to crop ears and dock tails of dogs even though that is far less invasive than spaying and neutering.

In Massachusetts it is illegal for fairs to have goldfish as prizes. In a couple of states its also illegal to have them in bags.

In a couple of states its a felony - FELONY - to tie dogs out under 32 degrees or if it's too hot - I forget the exact temperature. They have guidelines for shelters but the writers of the bill are clueless about animal husbandry.

Bob. Not sure if you're just trying to be a provocateur here. But with every post you sound more like a DA.

A 12 old girl to keep the baby? Support the baby and go to school?

Duh she would still have her mother to help out. She would have her brother as well as her father if needed that is what other families have done in the past. And as I said in the beginning if she so chose she could offer up the child for adoption that is always a possibility. Others have done that and so could any of these other hypothetical girls that you are conjuring do as well.

Under what circumstance is late term legal or done?

There is little question that by 6th month of pregnancy and perhaps a bit earlier, the fetus has regular brainwave activity and can absolutely feel pain.

Not a DA but someone who knows a poster made their point and he can't counter it so he tries to divert.

Rose stated "In many cases animals have more protection than unborn children do."

So her examples given should be protections unborn "children" don't have. DA

Yes "offer up the child for adoption that is always a possibility." is more realistic.

Now what if the pregnancy was determined at 9 weeks?

What if your 12 year old Granddaughter that got pregnant from the 13 year old next door. Would you want the government to limit what your son or daughter could do?

I have a 13 year old great grand daughter and know by talking to her she wouldn't do such a thing. All of the children in our family are taught from a age they are able to understand the consequences of having sex at that young of a age. So we trust the children in our family. Of course all kids will do something that isn't right but they understand what their actions can have on them later in life. Have a great day.
