I didn't know what to call this post, so I settled on grief and pain. It's nice that we have all of this political furor right now, and things are so polarized. But I need to ask EVERY SINGLE POSTER on OPP one question. How, in the name of anything that is human, can we stand behind a legal system that deems the murder of an innocent and helpless child to be legal? I have tried to read about New York joining a few other states that allow this atrocity called partial birth a******n and I can't. I become physically ill and nauseous. Some mores and laws that have come up in the past, particularly in the past 10 years, are d********g and enraging to me. Particularly the ones that exploit children. But to know that I live in a country that legally supports the murder of a viable, precious living child has shattered me, and shattered my faith in my government and too many of my fellow citizens. Are we all Charles Manson now? Early term a******n is bad enough, but this? This is truly inhuman. I do not mean inhumane, I mean inhuman. Our country has sunk so very low, that we are attacking and stunting our children in education, trying to sexualize them at an early age, trying to dork with their g****r well before they even know what g****r is. But this? Legalized Murder of a living, helpless infant? Dear God in heaven, we dare to call ourselves civilized and evolved? This is devolution and anarchy at its worst.

I just posted on this also. Shows how truly evil progressives are. Remember science, and they are big believers in science has found that the unborn feel pain at a much younger stage than thought before. Yet the compassionate liberals say oh well. Another one bites the dust.

This is still only the beginning of their evil. Eventually they will justify k*****g seniors, then children who are deformed or not wanted up to a certain age, next the mentally ill and who knows from there. Yet they will seek mercy for a murderer and baby rapist! I can remember when we once asked mercy for some misguided murderer and thief. Today we simply excuse murder and theft by the misguided. This entire murderous hedonistic agenda is satanic and it is the mainstream agenda of the progressive politics and philosophy. They literally damn and destroy this nation and the weak people attracted to them.

This isn't "them", padremike. This is "us". This isn't an outside group or individual committing an atrocity. This is OUR laws in OUR country. I've been thinking about what can be done and what I can do personally to put a stop to this inhuman behavior. If OUR laws are murdering children WE need to stop it.

If you support this travesty, Bob, you are truly deluded and/or a sociopath.

Thanks Bahmer. This is the one that's turning me into a dedicated activist. All I have to do is find a group that's not full of shiznit, or create my own platform/resistance group. Sent emails out to some members of the Dupage and Will Bar associations that I know for ideas

I haven't seen anything to support the rhetorical notion that it has anything to do with "right up to birth".

It fully supports a******n laws as they exist right now, which all have term limit points. I personally think they are excessively long, but when the right makes women jump through the hurdles and delays trying to make it as hard as possible, shorter terms can prevent a wanted a******n.

You support red states being able to pass their own laws, well here you go, liberal states offsetting hardcore restrictive states...if you don't like liberal laws move out of the state and find one that reflects your beliefs. We are headed toward christian versus atheist states the way christians think they have a right to "practice" their religious beliefs.

I'm sorry deb but it isn't "us". It isn't my law or your law. A******n law is straight out of an unwelcome foreigner (Satan's) law book. Does that sound unhinged? Of course it does to those who have no conscience capable of comprehending good and evil, right from wrong, moral absolutes! S***ery was a mere misdemeanor compared to the dismembering of a child in the womb, sucking it out in pieces, and then tossing it in the sewage system or sold for cosmetic ingredients. We fought a war over s***ery huh? I believe the death toll was around 400,000 for a little over 3 million s***es. What should the cost be for the k*****g of over 60 million unborn children? S***ery for them would have at least meant life. But like the ancient pagan Greeks said the a******n advocates today also say, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Really?

Individuals can be forgiven for a******n. I'm not certain nations can. We deserve punishment at least equal to this sin. To the question how could we have prevented a******n? I would respond with the question how should we have responded to any foreign entity invading our nation for the sole purpose of k*****g 60 plus million our children and continuing to do so every day? You witnessed the violence the left caused during the Kavansugh hearings for the single issue of protecting a woman's so called "right" to murder her unborn child. The awful t***h is there is no longer any horror so great as to get the majority of passive American people to do anything but wring their hands, complain little and sigh. I've led and marched in many a******n protest and memorial events. I've written hundreds of letters. It was all dross!

The Supreme Court has codified the right for people to act irresponsible and the people love it! We need to tear down the Statue of Liberty and erect The Statue of Responsibility because both liberty and life are denied dead children.
