Its no help to brag he's the best president, or his wall proposal is backed by the living past presidents, to name just a few examples.
America needs Trump, but we need a more self-disciplined Trump.
I think that if he could get people around him who actually are on his side it would help. So far his inexperience and the fact that the swamp is so deep has cost him in that respect but he's learning. MAGA KAG 2020!

Fit2BTied: problem is Trump has chosen the people around him. He may have found Cohen useful pre-presidency, since he decided to seek office he SHOULD have separated from Cohen.
His military picks were good, but a leader needs to win the loyalty of his subordinates.
Trump must be really hard to work for.
Imagine you're involved in Trump's administration and you wake up every day to tweets.
Imagine you're his Sec. Of Defense, etc. And you awake to hearing that Trump says we will pull out of Syria...without consulting and informing you.
Trump seems to be smuggling anti-Trump ammunition to the media.
I'm still not sure that Trump was right to cancel the State of the Union address. Pelosi wins!

PJT, I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying that while we need to encourage him to learn from his mistakes, I still accept him - warts and all - and put him up there with the most Pro-American Presidents of all time.

Fit2BTied: I'm sympathetic, but will withhold judgment.
If Trump has other ways to fund the wall, shutting down the Govt. Wasn't a great idea.
Get on with it, Donald!
Pelosi can take trips and refuse to meet and negotiate. Polls show Trump approval dropping despite that.
Don't trust polls but they condition or influence millions, accurate or not. And the media controls that.

I'm confused. So you'd rather he sit back and let the MSM tell us what's going on? Sure his style is sometimes over the top but he's a salesman and a deal-maker. They are, by nature, bombastic. I for one prefer this, even with the gaffes over the slick, two-faced, politically correct kind of politician like Barry O and his ilk. If you believe in what he's trying to do, allow him to be human - i.e. every so often he's going to step on his foreskin, as my Uncle Russell used to say. 🤤👍

Aunt Nancy withdrew her invitation and the President said he'd postpone until after the partial government shutdown. I think he's got something brewing, but we'll have to wait and see.

Yes wait and see. As a salesman . a salesman doesn't have to convince the majority, just enough to buy his product or service to make him successful.
Trump has to convince the majority of v**ers, which he seems not to be doing with his bombast.

Colin Powell is just another back stabbing piece of crap. Claims to be a Republican and then he backs Obama. Think about this...........Obama could never have been a platoon commander in Powells military. He was not qualified.

Maybe Colin Powell misheard Martin Luther King. Bperhaps he heard "Its the color of your skin not the content of your character".
That's about as close to a justification for his misguided actions as I can conjure up.
