This article is spot on!!! When Pelosi goes to Hawaii, and 30 Democrats travel down to the beaches of Puerto Rico for a nice little get-away, that's basically what the leadership and Dems are telling those who are waiting for a paycheck. Meanwhile, the President is doing the right thing and foregoing his trip to Mara-logo waiting in the WH, in case there is a break in negotiations. Obviously, the Dem politicians could care less how long those effected by the shutdown have to wait. Pretty insensitive bunch wouldn't you say, but so typical. Dems did their part, it's on McConnell to take a v**e, until they do there isn't a thing that can be done.
The house and senate need to work this out, until they do it has nothing to do with Trump. McConnell could have taken that v**e...which by the way would pass...Trump could have vetoed it, and the that veto could have been overridden within a day...
...then republicans can start working out the details of a border security and immigration package...this is not a dictatorship where the president always gets what he wants

Well, there is never a shortage of those.
