It is mostly in our choice of words. We just lack what it will take to express our self with the right words to reach others who are unable to grasp what our intent is.

People much like our self in many ways, came together to put together this country.

Today we face may of the problems that were present at the founding.

An over bearing group of people that wish to have what they want & do what they want in ways that are at the heart of what we all feel is the problems we have.

We all want to at last feel that what is happening can be fixed to ease the fear that what we hold dear will stop slipping away from us.

The only way that can happen is if people like us want it to happen.

It will never happen & life will only become more trying if we don't come together & shape the country in the way it should be for all of us not the few.

It is what the few are doing that is at the heart of most things
most of us find wrong.

Forget about returning to the dream about a time when we & our kind were in control. Not us but our kind did things that should not have been done.

It is our job to undo as much of what has been done wrong as we can. What needs to be done is not what is good for you or I but what is best for most of us. If we do that then you & I will be okay.

The best thing to do is undo things is to is to stop & lessen the impact that those with the most greed have on the most of us.

We need to look with in our self for the answers. For what each of us has in our hearts and minds is what we truly need to get out. We will never find the right thing to do if we are looking for others to tell us what to do.

I for one will put my trust in what most really have in their hearts & minds. For there is no other way for us to go.

Good morning Floyd: I share your sentiments but I think they are impossible to achieve. The devil has captured too many of your fellow man. There are people who kidnap 300 little girls and rape and sell them. How do you convert them? There are i******s here who sell drugs and most k*****gs are done by street gangs with connections to the Mexican Mafia. Floyd, it's impossible to convert these people. So what do you do with them? Leave them alone as the US gov. is doing. They are terrorist among us and the gov. knows it. Yet, the all powerful gov. lets them roam freely to k**l women and children. Gov. lets them cross the border. Gov. lets them sell drugs to our youth. You know the rest of the story. Free love and sex was tried in the sixties and it was fun for those who engaged in it but for the moral fabric of America we stayed away. And then came the curse of God, AIDS.

I am going for just little changes in the hope the problems can be reduced & little changes for the better made.

The world is only going to get better because each of us in our own small way will work towards that end.

Alone we can not do much but as more of see alike on problems & solutions the more that can be done.

No one can be all things at all times.

The biggest drug dealers are Big Pharma. Prescription drugs k**l vastly more people every year than illegal drugs. The biggest arms dealers? That would be the death merchants who bill themselves as "defense contractors".......the ones who have the capacity to end life on earth.

The gangs are just small change compared to Dick Cheney, and Halliburton, Raytheon, General Dynamics, and Electric Boat.

And of course you can prove prescription drugs k**l more people than illicit drugs.

And I haven't seen any of the five mentioned above, in the streets, as a gang, k*****g people.

If he can't prove it, here is an interesting link: http://healthimpactnews.com/2011/prescription-drugs-now-k**l-more-people-than-illegal-drugs/

Prescription Drugs Now K**l More People than Illegal Drugs

Pills Spilling out Prescription Drugs Now K**l More People than Illegal Drugs
by Dr. Mercola

“Pharmageddon” is Upon Us
Death by medicine is a 21st-century epidemic, and America’s “war on drugs” is clearly directed at the wrong enemy!

Prescription drugs are now k*****g far more people than illegal drugs, and while most major causes of preventable deaths are declining, those from prescription drug use are increasing, an analysis of recently released data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by the Los Angeles Times revealed.

The Times analysis of 2009 death statistics, the most recent available, showed:

For the first time ever in the US, more people were k**led by drugs than motor vehicle accidents
37,485 people died from drugs, a rate fueled by overdoses on prescription pain and anxiety medications, versus 36,284 from traffic accidents
Drug fatalities more than doubled among teens and young adults between 2000 and 2008, and more than tripled among people aged 50 to 69

Again, these drug-induced fatalities are not being driven by illegal street drugs; the analysis found that the most commonly abused prescription drugs like OxyContin, Vicodin, Xanax and Soma now cause more deaths than heroin and cocaine combined.
“Pharmageddon” is Upon Us

Thank you for pointing this out.

I listen to the ads for drugs & just chuckle at all of the things that can go wrong if you take then.

Things that people take drugs for.

A nice closed loop for the drug companies.

We need to be wary of where all of this is leading to.

you really need an attitude adjustment

Very true and very wise. But, we live in a world that is unconcerned for the most part with the feelings of others. Our world has become calaused; we see the h**e and hurt caused, but it is not happening to us or our immediate family and so we turn our faces from the hurt, pretend that everyone is capable of standing up for themselves and if they are not, then they should just go away. Sad comment on the last 60 years of attitude adjustments.

Mr. Brown, I think the way you do. Words are more harmful than bombs, guns, or knives. Words remain in our minds and continues to hurt our hearts long after the issue has been resolved. Physical pain can be cured, emotional pain can last a lifetime. I certainly do not want to be responsible for causing that kind of harm to anyone.

We need to come together as one in making our interactions with each other be one that is positive.

Life is filled with so much pain & strife that can be eased by kind words with or for each other.

This would leave us better at meeting the day to day problems we all have.

How much better do you feel if some one lets you in to traffic as opposed to cutting you off. I am sure that the feelings are quite the same when it is the other way.

I am in agreement. There are so many bad things in this world. A single act of kindness can change a person's entire day. How often humor can break an otherwise contentious discussion. And how often is that humor seen as an attempt to malign individuals. It is hard to ferret out to whom an innocent comment can be seen as oppression and damnation of another's opinion or view. To me, I will give the benefit of the doubt than vilify someone due to misunderstanding of what I wrote. Words command different meanings depending on your location.

Thank you Mr. Brown. I can see that your gentle understanding of others is in fact very endearing.

The article fails to stipulate how many of the "legal" drugs were stolen from the intended recipient, or taken in robberies of pharmacy's. The deaths by teens and young adults were the result, I believe, in an effort to get "high", as they do from illicit drugs. I'm not condoning the deaths, but merely trying to put them in their proper perspective.
