Gee wanting to get married and can't afford an engagement ring

I know people like that and as their kids got older they still are giving them cash for anything they want !

It's one thing to help kids but all another thing when they have developed into life long depending on Mom and Dad !

I read the other day spoil your kids and one day you will be raising your grand kids !

One of the best thing parents can do is to instill a good work ethic !

Funny how you people think she did nothing wrong by doing government business over a unsecured server and many of her emails were classified !

Now it'd be a whole different story had she been a Repub then all of you would be up in arms about this as it is Hillary is such a fine perfect person who in your view can do nothing wrong !

It's the ole hypocritical double standard you progressive l*****t libs love to play and play it well indeed

And thanks to the GOP Trump will not be held accountable just in GODS eyes

My son has a good job only the second time he ever asked me for money he is 32 years old not bad if you ask me but if that's what you call lifelong depending on Papa and he just wanted a short loan instead of taking from savings if its any of your business

Good for you, my dad left me 3k, he owed me 40k. Unless he was charging me for raising me. Stepmom and stepsibs made out like bandits. That's life and I still wear a smile.

our parents brought us into this world. My parents had no money but they put a roof over our heads feed us and loved us. Is it wrong to help your Children if you can help .I dont have a lot of money but to be able to help just a little make me smile.

Nope. Helping your children is admirable. As long as it doesn’t evolve into dependency. You seem to know the difference.

Ahhh you failed to mention him asking for a loan so that's why I responded the way I did !

In 1963 when I got out of High School I went in debt for a complete tractor set up $8000 to be exact didn't cost my Folks nothing !

When I got back from Vietnam I went in debt again for a 120 acre farm but since spending 4 yrs in the Air Force I didn't have a credit rating so the bank required Dad cosign for me in 5 yrs I had built up my credit rating and thus no need for a cosigner and it didn't cost my folks nary a penny !

My sister and I were taught to work for what we wanted and work we did only time we got money from the folks was when they had passed away and we split the estate 50/50 after all the bills were paid!

The good book says good parents should leave their children some kind of inheritance. He has had a long line of good parents and it's a great story. No shame in his game. What are you going to leave your kids with, besides your last name?

Good question.

There are opportunities for people that want to grt ahead and will work to make that dream s reality.

My hat is off to you brother.

There are way too much lazy people who want a successful buisness just handed to them. Most run that buisness into the ground because they have no work ethics or knowledge.

Even the mega-rich normally blow it all in three generations. Some superstars blow it all before they die and the same goes for lotto winners.

Judge orders Justice, State departments to reopen narrow inquiry into handling of Clinton email records lawsuit.

I have heard that justice can be slow, but eventually it will catch up.

"In a narrow but sharply worded 10-page opinion, Lamberth wrote that despite the government’s claimed presumption of t***sparency, “faced with one of the gravest modern offenses to government openness, [the Obama administration’s] State and Justice departments fell far short” of the law’s requirements in a lawsuit for documents.

Lamberth added that despite President Trump’s repeated campaign attacks against Clinton for not making her emails public, “the current Justice Department made things worse” by taking the position that agencies are not obliged to search for records not in the government’s possession when a FOIA request is made.

Lamberth wrote he took no pleasure in “questioning the intentions of the nation’s most august” Cabinet departments but said it was necessary when their response “smacks of outrageous misconduct.”

Conservative legal watchdog group Judicial Watch filed its FOIA lawsuit in July 2014 seeking State Department talking points issued after the September 2012 attacks on U.S. facilities in B******i, Libya, that left a U.S. ambassador dead."

I had a cousin who has now passed on , he always wanted to be someone but he always wanted to start at the top he just wasn't willing to start at the bottom like so many others started !

Case in point my sister was an RN and BIL was a Machinist in LA Calif their neighborhood was getting worse and worse so they move to another area and brought a burglar alarm business didn't know squat about it to start out with !
They lived on her check and put everything from the business back into the business the first 5 yrs they almost starved to death but they ended up buying another alarm company and are now very well off .

As I said in another post our parents taught us both a work ethic that has paid off very well for us !
