Jesus, Paul and Jude made it quite clear that the enemy of the gospel would come mainly via false teachers and wolves in sheep's clothing hidden among confessing believers. The main enemy of God and His work on the cross is the religious leaders that are hindering the clear gospel message of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus.

It is the way in which Roman Catholicism seeks after people to make one not a Christian, but a Christ - Eating Catholic that separates them from Christianity. It is absolutely what they teach about God and Christ and Mary that differs radically from the Bible that matters.

Instead of allowing you to come to Christ and become part of any Bible teaching body of Christ you choose, which puts you in the Church (universal), they insist you become a member of their Roman Catholic Church, with its seven sacraments, of which Jesus had never heard, and most assuredly would have condemned.

A church which has abandoned Scripture, to ceaselessly create their own Catechism of rules and regulations, duly recorded in the Catholic Encyclopedia, is not the true Church of Jesus Christ, nor is it a Christian Church, for rather than Christ, under the manufactured title of Pope, a mere man rules as its head.

It is God's "Scripture alone," i.e., His Holy Word, that is 1) "authorized," that is 2) "legitimate," that is 3) "historical," that is 4) "accurate," and finally, that is 5) "verifiable," and it alone which can be traced back for 2,000 years to Jesus Christ and to His Apostles.

And we see great upset in the Catholic church today. Even catholic blogs are questioning pope Francis, priest are leaving the church and writing articles, pinning he pope as the false Prophet. The everyday catholic members don't know what to think of the words coming out of the popes mouth, they are dumb founded.

As for the Christian church's that had questionable theology but did profess the gospel, many of these have now compromised the word of God for the liberal political correct crowds and allowing gay pastors, weddings, speaking to itching ears.

I don't think this is the falling away spoke of in the Bible. Perhaps the prequel to the falling away. I see the falling away immediately following the rapture which opens the door for the false Prophet.
Not to drift to far away from your point, have you been watching and seeing the same signals leading up to the 08-09 global economic crisis, that are happening again?
Then considering the alignment neatly in place for Psalms 81, and Ezekiel 38,39 and Damascus (leveled) never again to be inhabited, Gog Magog, the realignment of Europe (10 nation confederacy), both China and Russia quoted we are prepping our military for war [America], pope Francis has gone off the rails in statements welcoming atheist, gays into the folds, his anti-semitic stance against Israel and the Jewish people with his arms opened wide to Islam. Then looking how the previous popes plus pope Francis found pastors claiming to be Christians and having voices over multitudes (TV, radio) that would agree to having the same "Christian" beliefs as the Catholic church, all what I see as the current pope setting the stage for the curtain to open on the one world church. I have every reason to believe pope Francis the Jesuit is demon possessed, even committing miracles.

President Trump placed by God and I don't think for a minute it was to bring America back from our sunken society or God back in schools or government, rather for the benefit of Israel and helping to prepare some of the last end times puzzle pieces into place. Jerusalem as capital, stocking Israel's military, setting the stage for the seven year peace agreement, holding back the U.N., all kinda big things, but not for America instead America receives temporary blessings for blessing Israel and God restraining his judgement on America.

I could go on and on but you see where I'm headed on this thought process.

Doc110 and Radiance3 are out of their league and they know it. Not because Zemirah, texaCan, rose42, you and myself are so witty, or upper handed with scripture. They are out of their league defending demonic doctrine against the Power of God's word.
Jesus Defeated satan with "it is written", he Defeated the pharisees with "it is written". Neither Satan or the pharisees were able to make a defense against the word of God.
The same has shown true neither Doc110 nor Radiance3 have been able to make a case against the word of God. They have made a case defending their church but had to use scripture out of context , but not once have they made a argument/case against "It is written" scripture proving their false teaching. As we see when presented "the word of God says" the only refute is the same cut and paste babble with nothing addressing "God's word", in fact considering the tens of thousands of words written covering many months, not a single word to counter directly and specifically "God's word" proving their false teachings. They don't realize who their up against, who their fighting.... Not me, you or the ladies.

Poor Doc110 is going through all kinds of gyrations and trying his level best to shoe horn in Mariology into the bible and make it fit even if he has to drive into the bible with a hammer and nail it in place somehow. It must be so hard to prove these pagan practices that are not in the bible with biblical truth that is not there. He again reminds me of an out of shape retired Marine trying to fit in his dress blues the he outgrew years ago and now there is this reunion and he wants to look sharp but can't admit he is an old fat man now.

Reminds me of a kid when I was in either the second or third grade. Poor kid had burdens I can only guess, but we're of the worst kind.
This kid had the worst temper of anyone ever in my life. His face would turn the brightest red, his fist would clench, then you knew the unhinged explosion was coming.
Hands waving, screaming, stomping feet in an anger and flurry that was frightening. He was eventually removed from school. Doc110 no longer able to hammer out on his keyboard a lengthy demeaning insult, a long false refute and then to gloat would disable the ability to reply. Now that administration has removed the ability to disable someone, I see that kid, the same kid exploding in absolute flurry of rage and anger.
