Why did the ICAC Explode after a complete maroon like Al Gore come up with a stirring movie? By what standard do a scientist that promote fear of global disaster throughout made warming go by? Answer is none by their own! This is why the models have been altered ten to twelve times in the last several years alone. Basic science from 101 tells us that theories must be challenged to be validated, yet we have some 10800 ninnys trying to blow smoke up your ass and tell you it is healthy. They don't use true science and when they do and start to look at the real causes for c*****e c****e and sun cycles, and esplane why other rocks in our universe have shown the same exact increase in temperature as earth then I'll believe the crap. Fact is that CFC's and Methane are absolutley causing more damage than CO2 but lets not talk real science, lets spew BS and make be pathological about our own human greatness!

There are probably a lot of things. It's pretty clear that we have pumped a lot of CO2 in the atmosphere since we industrialized a hundred years ago. Sea level has risen about a foot in the last hundred years, and it will keep rising if we don't stop adding to the CO2 in the atmosphere. Every president from Richard Nixon through Bill Clinton understood that man has contributed to g****l w*****g/c*****e c****e (wh**ever you prefer to call it). I saw excerpts of speeches from each president since then saying so in a new documentary titled (I think) "Years of Living Dangerously" that recently started on SHOWTIME on Wednesday evenings. Deniers of g****l w*****g (oil and gas industries and the Republican politicians who are beholden to them) only started their denials about 15 years ago.

The first step, I would think, would be to wean ourselves off of f****l f**ls. The real value to America, I think, would be to lead the world in developing alternative sources of energy. Right now, we have nothing to offer the world. America's economic dominance started with being the world's provider of cotton and tobacco. We don't manufacture anything to offer the world anymore. Our business leaders took their plants to China, India, and other Far Eastern countries. America's needs something to offer the world. G***n e****y of all types seems to offer lots of new possibilities for American businesses. I would like to see this developed.

I agree that it would be great if we could all drive less polluting vehicles, or zero polluting vehicles. Electric vehicles are fine if you don't charge from the grid. Solar has chemical issue to manufacture them and we will have huge issue in twenty years or so when the efficiency is close to zero and we need to dispose if them.
I included the paragraph because it doesn't add up to even close to a foot of sea rise. 24x.14 inches equals about 3 3/8 inches which still probably a stretch. Also I seriously doubt it has to do with ice/ polar cap melt, considering we have had record growth of the polar caps for over a decade running.
So where did the extra water come from?
I would guess that even at the minuscule amount of warming we have experience has cause the massive amount of water that has always been here to expand ever so slightly.
