Until we find an alternative, which I would 100% support funding research for, we need to tighten and make as safe as we can the energy sources we already have. It does no good to get rid of coal and nuclear power (which are what generates electricity and powers your home, Jester) if there is no alternative. Make them as safe as possible, and then research an energy source that will work. And be clean and responsible with what we have as we can.

That is really all we can do.

Why did the ICAC Explode after a complete maroon like Al Gore come up with a stirring movie? By what standard do a scientist that promote fear of global disaster throughout made warming go by? Answer is none by their own! This is why the models have been altered ten to twelve times in the last several years alone. Basic science from 101 tells us that theories must be challenged to be validated, yet we have some 10800 ninnys trying to blow smoke up your ass and tell you it is healthy. They don't use true science and when they do and start to look at the real causes for c*****e c****e and sun cycles, and esplane why other rocks in our universe have shown the same exact increase in temperature as earth then I'll believe the crap. Fact is that CFC's and Methane are absolutley causing more damage than CO2 but lets not talk real science, lets spew BS and make be pathological about our own human greatness!

I'm of the belief that some c*****e c****e is happening, and we need to be respectful of the earth. Yet the arrogance and ignorance from people who say they are "progressive" is staggering.

The solutions make absolutely no sense. How do you help the earth out by building an electric car rather than an oil one? Do environmentalists not know electricity is generated by dirty coal and toxic nuclear power? What the hell did that solve? Solar panels fry wildlife, and many of the other options they have come up with are just as bad if not worse. But they will still thumb their nose at others who are doing the best they can with the earths resources, calling them GOP "regressives" because we have no viable options, or because we ask reasonable questions like: "How am I going to keep myself warm in the winter with no form of energy?"

They can't answer the question. They arrogantly condemn you for doing the same thing they are doing. Consuming energy. They have shut down the coal plants with no other options, shut down fracking with no other options, condemn oil spills and nuclear leaks, all while eating a pop tart created in a factory using ingredients from pesticide-producing farmers and machines powered by energy produced from the latest nuclear meltdown.

Hypocrisy at its finest. I'm tired of being made to feel bad about something I can do absolutely nothing about. If I could, I would.

Here we have a co-op electrical company, the management are so corrupt that it's almost unbelievable! They get around the Buy-back law by requiring you to have over $500,000 Worth of Syncronizing and remote control equipment! What they are afraid of is Net metering, Google "Jesse Berst, Smart meters" for a site on the net metering and smart meter problems! The worst being that it is digital and remote controlled, The metering rate can be controlled by them so is no reflection of your true use! Most people here complain that their bill went up about $100 with the new meter! But in fla. we are still allowed to have our own meter (in series with theirs) so I know exactly how much I really use, (they found out and changed their meter as quickly as possible, to hide the evidence) On your TV and papers there is a story about the city stopping a woman from living off grid, that is HERE! a local snowbird city called Cape Coral! Every few days we see the new way the city government has found to keep her out of her home! (all of that city's drones are from Philly) As to the EPA, their agenda is clear (to enact agenda 21) no use of energy should be used, carbon taxes, emission regulations, fuel storage laws, permits for windmills and solar panels, and anything else they can figure out! If you look at it from that viewpoint, it adds up! I have put cheap panels where I need the power, separate batteries with them, so the several systems are small, and 12 volt, allowing the use of Camper style appliances. Only the shop equipment is still 110-220 volt! And can be run off the inverter short times, and the generator long term! The small refrigerators sold at Walmart will run off a 400 watt inverter and one deep cycle battery. and about 100 watts of solar panel! The same for a small freezer. And a 2000 watt inverter for the house. And 4 golf cart batteries, Another 90 watts of panels, lighting is from LEDs @ 1.2 volts 8 in series, no resistor, a $29 12volt pump from Harbor Freight pumps the water, and a 12volt pump and panel from Electronic Goldmine circulates the hot water from the solar panel into the original hot water heater FREE! That way no controls are needed! The outside security cameras are powered separately by gell cells and their own panels. It can be done, cheaply, not $27,000 for a grid connected, rooftop, system! If I lived where you do, I would have root cellars and solar heating, Using a panel and battery to circulate the warm and cold air.

There are probably a lot of things. It's pretty clear that we have pumped a lot of CO2 in the atmosphere since we industrialized a hundred years ago. Sea level has risen about a foot in the last hundred years, and it will keep rising if we don't stop adding to the CO2 in the atmosphere. Every president from Richard Nixon through Bill Clinton understood that man has contributed to g****l w*****g/c*****e c****e (wh**ever you prefer to call it). I saw excerpts of speeches from each president since then saying so in a new documentary titled (I think) "Years of Living Dangerously" that recently started on SHOWTIME on Wednesday evenings. Deniers of g****l w*****g (oil and gas industries and the Republican politicians who are beholden to them) only started their denials about 15 years ago.

The first step, I would think, would be to wean ourselves off of f****l f**ls. The real value to America, I think, would be to lead the world in developing alternative sources of energy. Right now, we have nothing to offer the world. America's economic dominance started with being the world's provider of cotton and tobacco. We don't manufacture anything to offer the world anymore. Our business leaders took their plants to China, India, and other Far Eastern countries. America's needs something to offer the world. G***n e****y of all types seems to offer lots of new possibilities for American businesses. I would like to see this developed.
