Unfortunately, LW, Ex Parte Garland indicates that a p**********l pardon can be conveyed before judicial proceedings. i.e one does not even have to have gone to trial, much less have been found guilty, in order for a p**********l pardon to be valid.

To me this seems to make its issuance pre-conviction mostly political and symbolic.
There is, though, the practical matter that a pardon attaches itself to the punishment post-conviction as well, so it seems unlikely that The Orange Man would issue such a pardon for HRC.

Can't pardon anything until evidence is presented at a trial. If she is guilty of the crimes she is suspected of committing, a pardon would be a grave injustice on America and her people. Obama advocated pardoning t*****rs and exaulting them as heros. He degraded who we are.
