He's taken on those so-called assaults due to his own contemptuous actions. Maybe if he wants to have people stop firing on him he should change his course of action of his offensive tactics. maybe he shouldn't be calling other Americans...unamerican, or the destruction to the country, or horrible, horrible people. maybe he should try and be a president that endeavors to bring his countrymen together instead of trying to divide us.

It is a major issue with the Democrats due to the fact that is how the Republicans stole seats in Congress in 2010. That wasn't due to a fair and just v****g system, it was from the tidal wave of strategic planning of gerrymandering from the Republicans to the point of being unconstitutional. Now that might not bother you, but it does me.
I don't think it 's a pipe dream, I think it's a great dream, one I would love to support and see happen and stop the party manipulations.
