Come to my house and I'll turn you on to good cooking before I set you loose to lose tons of cash in the casinos.

If most of my crop wasn't triple mango skunk it would have been a heck of a lot easier. My house smells like skunk and will for a while.

I used to build and Design ventilation systems. Ventilating into the attic space by way of carbon filters works well. It gets rid of the skunk and maintains the funk. It's a wonderful thing.

This is slam dunk skunk funk of the highest disorder. Not even the wood stove smell covers it.

In 30 days or so I should have it in jars and things will get back to a******l.

I sleep like a brick for 5 good hours usually. 6 if I'm lucky. Then I'm up.

I have 5 fuzzy alarm clocks (cats) and an invalid Ma who sure I don't get too settled.

Sounds like your Ma is very blessed to have you and you are blessed to still have a Ma!
The cats are a whole 'nuther' subject!!!!!! I miss my đŸ± cats immensely! Can't say the same for Charlie.... he had a tendency to send the 'fur' flying every chance he got!!!!!

My sister and two of her grown kids visited for a few days last month. I overheard one of them remark to the other, "These cats are so normal".

They go in. They go out. They catch things. They bring them in the house and let them go. They sleep anywhere they want. They do the "mad cat dash" once in a while. They get on the roof. They lick the butter if it gets left out and they're all affectionate and laid back. They are normal.

I wonder what my sister's cats are like.

Ya...cats do tend to get underfoot. That's partially because one of the ways they communicate is to try to lead you to what it is they want. I have to be careful or I could hurt somebody.

I better appreciate cats now from afar.

😂 I didn’t know there was such a thing as a normal cat! We had a ‘mental’ cat that had her babies on top of the chicken house! She would have to climb up a tree to get on the roof! She was mean as a snake and would attack me when I tried to get the babies down , so I placed a ladder against the side to make it easier for her to bring the babies down! And she did! She put them in the spare tire in my husband’s truck without our knowledge! Apparently she was in the tire when Jack went to the job site and she , of course, didn’t make it home! My son heard the kittens coming from the truck and they finally found them. They were in pretty bad shape by then, but we were able to save most of them! In the 12 years that we owned that home, I got very good at raising orphaned babies!

We live in the sticks and we have a cat door. The lucky ones find their way here and are adopted without prejudice. No exceptions. I have 5 cats as of July. Had as many as 9.

We had babies every spring, but the coyotes and a pair of huge barn owls kept them thinned out! I kept swearing I was going to k**l the owls, but my husband told me that I wouldn’t like jail! 😂

I get 'em fixed before they come in the house. Learned my lesson there.
